LOL, this picture is just fucking hilarious--Jim Caviezel just sitting their dead serious in the MOST RIDICULOUS getup ever, having a regular convo with the worlds most infamous racist. XD

LOL--that sub is more liberal with the bans than the fucking Chinese government is! It's like "mmm, yes, NOTHING says confident in the truth of one's ideals, and DECIDEDLY stable and rational in mind" than a byzantine policy of arbitrary blanket banning and censorship.... x'D

Like, I've been alive for a few decades--I have been forced to accept, despite my initial reluctance, that at least a GOOD portion of humans are UNBELIEVABLY stupid--but, still, HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO BAD AT RHETORIC?! Like, think about it for second--LOGICALLY, if you're trying to attract men and women, and like MAYBE you have a preference, but OSTENSIBLY its not a dealbreaker (...or you'd just look for the ONE sex if that WERE so important, right?), WHY ON EARTH would you ever TELL them (nay, b…

Does anyone think the fine ladies over at FDS have ever helped a woman land a relationship--much less a FULFILLING one (and SHIT, I'll just make it easy and say "fuck the guy's feelings entirely" and only measure that by the satisfaction/fulfillment, or not of the woman--after all, FDS makes it perfectly clear in its guidelines no less that that's LITERALLY their stance...funny then how they still centralize the existence of their thread around the PURSUIT of men, but I am digressing now)--like …

I too have come to conclude that it is easier to just honestly and openly reject monogamy from the outset, than to engage in the exhausting endless game of trying to regulate and monitor another person's commitment to monogamy, something that by all evidence appears (1) practically speaking nigh impossible and (2) something many if not most people don't seem particularly inclined to do (at least over any extended period of time) anyhow, not without coercion or misery, which, TO ME at least seems…

Hey, it could be the only "exception" she makes, in terms of otherwise not accepting apologies--eh, eh? ;) xD

Ah, yes thank makesse sense, and hahaha, people have told me similar (regarding being a bit odd), I've made peace with it. :D I appreciate your thoughts and feedback!

"febfem"? A bit behind on my lingo. Would you WANT--or would it make any difference at all--to be engaged in the legal act of marriage with said person? If not, then would you say for you it's the cultural significance of the ritual--and that others (presumably, including your beloved) would also have this view and thus for each of you (the betrothed), it would be meaningful and fulfilling as an act unto itself?

That is what a lot of people seem to be saying--do you feel marriage would make the quality of the relationship (and/or it's longevity--could it affect one and not the other?) better for either you, or your husband, or your children, or a mix of all of the above? It seems "family" (i.e. having/making one) is a common "theme" if you will among reasons people have for pursuing marriage. I wonder what the "extra" marriage specifically brings to that. At the same time as I do feel it's AT LEAST intu…

Yes I can see how extreme pressure from cultural/religious attitudes could make it easier to just be married, especially if you already basically wanted to do most of the things that typically entails (having children, at least often, a monogamous relationship with one person indefinitely, etc.). I appreciate you sharing your experiences!

Sometimes I wish that I could find enough reason in respecting someone else's desire to oblige tradition, or social norms, or other reasons of convention or culture that dictate why a marriage is desirable to them--that even if it's not "a good enough reason" for me, if it's a good enough reason "for that special person" then that would make it good enough for me--but I don't think I am capable of that, to respect and value, sufficiently at least, something as much as someone else when I do not …

I certainly do understand the fear of being/dying alone. I also have a few members of my most immediate/nuclear family a really love, and my mother set an amazing example of being an impeccable parent, at least I think. I guess maybe my personal fear/why I do not see a value in marriage in that regard, is that I worry that marriage wouldn't be functionally different--that is, whatever other pros (or cons) of marriage, marriage wouldn't make someone more likely to BE a better partner or WANT to s…

Do you feel marriage improves the quality of the sex, or the likely duration that they would share life with you? I've always personally seen marriage as not really buying me (maybe just me personally) more "peace of mind" in that regard, because I've always thought either I'd be afraid that they would ONLY be staying on account of some coercive effect of the status of marriage (i.e. "all the wrong reasons", which in the end I don't think would do much to really preserve what I actually wanted i…

Haha--well, since the INVERSE is BASICALLY a way to ask the same question in contrapositive form (i.e. what WOULD "marriage" have to be/mean FOR you to want it, if you didn't/don't in the status quo), I'd say your answer still "counts." ;) xD

Yes my point exactly--I would THINK anyone whose experiences were similar to the OP's, such that they'd come to believe what the OP believed, must NECESSARILY reach that same inescapable conclusion (i.e. indeed, what IS the point of pursuing/continuing to pursue sex with men)?

If you feel like marriage is something you absolutely MUST have to feel "complete" as a person, then you should ask yourself why, and if you find the reasons are one's you find good--i.e. you find you really do want that for reasons that make sense to you--you should just tell him, and insist that you need to know how he feels, if marriage is something he feels the same way about, or doesn't, and his reasons. If he cares about you, he should want to have that conversation and give that informati…

So if HE is upfront, he's NOT a fuckboy (now, whether not you're interested in what he's telling you, honestly, he is interested in being another matter entirely of course)--fuckboy's are dishonest about their true motives? (people seem to use this term in different ways in different contexts)

Question, is it IMPOSSIBLE that "high value" person (and let us assume for the sake of argument that this gradient of value does apply to humans generally) would NOT want to be get married as the "be-all-end-all" goal of life and/or a "romantic relationship"/"romantic relationships" generally? Follow-up question, assuming it is NOT impossible completely, do you view this as different based upon sex (i.e. is it equally possible a "high value" man or a "high value" woman could potentially not desi…

Question--does a male who honestly tells you he finds you sexually attractive and enjoys your company, and wants to spend time together (which may mean sex, if that's something you'd like, but could involve any mutually enjoyed activities), but has no present intentions of ever expecting or obliging monogamy (and doesn't really see that as "phase", i.e. "I'm just not ready to 'settle down', etc." though of course I suppose anything can change over, enough, time), constitute a "fuckboy"?

I don't understand why a man would WANT to be wholly reliant on another person, especially something so important--maybe "intelligent" in reference to the noun "man" would be the key adjective here explaining that....

Assuming for the sake of argument that's true, why would one continue to pursue a sexual/romantic (or perhaps any example of what commonly might be classified as a "non-platonic" relationship, broadly speaking) relationship with a man?

Ah, I see--I guess I just didn't get that right away from the context; like, it just kinda starts there, so it wasn't clear was that just like something random from a stranger out the blue or a first thing they messaged, or were they having a conversation before that, or etc. Prolly over-thought the joke 🥴 😆

I know I'm probably outing myself a moron here, but, uh....I don't get it... Is the joke just "he wants to come over and fuck, and I said NO! x'D x'D x'D", or...? I FEEL like I'm missing something...am I overthinking this?
