The mediator for my divorce sided with her. Cost $100 an hour and he told me that the judge would side with the mother on all aspects.

I hear that. I still ask what my partner wants to do out of fear my response will be wrong. Hang in there.

My ex wife has BPD and I am seeing her for what she is now. I also have mood d/o and depression and that got way worse during. It’s amazing what a person can do to you, good or bad!

Haven’t you ever made a decision with your partner that at some point you start to not like(probably not with some of the responses this post has)? Doesn’t mean you regret it, just wish you could do something different in that exact moment. She wasn’t complaining she was just talking about her feelings at the time. Your life perfect?

Did anyone actually listen to what she was saying? She said it was because he got to have a life(ie go golfing and have a career) and she had to put hers on hold to one support his dream but also to raise children. She still loved him and you can obviously tell she does and always has. Just because she in that time “stand him” him doesn’t mean she didn’t love him. I can’t stand my girlfriend sometimes but that doesn’t mean I don’t love her either. She’s human and had feelings about it and vented…

As someone who does not celebrate the holidays, it sucks. I still want to see their smiles and hear them laugh and enjoy. I can understand not being physically there but I’d still like a picture or a video to at least get me by.

Type 1. Not saying it can’t be done but it’s a lot harder and I will never not be diabetic no matter what I have heard anyone say. Plus I like my carbs! 🤣

Type 1 or 2?

Even with treatment you can still have manic episodes. It usually just lessens the frequency and duration.

I am going to get them in the morning when I get off work and she’s already tried to deny that(not me getting them just when) and I will record the whole thing because I have no one else. No witness. She does so my witness will be video recording

It is. Especially when the father and grandparents are willing and dying to watch them and she knows it

I do appreciate that but we all have our issues and mine just appear in different ways. I at least take meds and have sought help for mine. Now she may have sought help, idk I do not live with her

From what I have seen she is there to pick them up with him and then she drops them off at the house then goes back to work. But I will contact the school and double check that he is not on the list

I do not want to take them from her. If THEY decide that then fine but my end goal is not to take them away from her, never has been. Unless she puts them in harms way, in which she has not so I will not.

Well it’s a tad late on the new relationship. Me and my ex have been separated for almost 3 1/2 years. My health well that’s always a work in progress since I am a diabetic but I am doing my best to stay healthy and relatively stress free(since stress can cause your blood sugar to go high(for me anyway) and cause issues. Partly why I just needed to vent so I didn’t just internalize this and it cause health issues. And I am the one who asked for the divorce.

Thank you! She just tried to deny me taking them to school Monday even tho I have them Sunday night. She questioned whether I have “good” clothes for them or food to make them lunches. All I told her is yes I have clothes and food and to please have their stuff ready for school with them when I get there in the morning.

Thank you for your kind words. I am doing my best to remain calm, never been a strong suit but I would do anything for my kids. Even if it means biting my tongue and biding my time.

I’ve never planned on using it against her. It would only hurt the kids in the long run. And nothing in the ways of child support orders as of yet. But when it was brought up that’s what I was told. I am going to push to have everything in writing as to what it goes to but idk the laws that well here in Missouri so irk if I can. I’ll just have to wait and see what my lawyer says

I was actually told that’s not what child support is for. I was like wtf then what does it pay for? Undiagnosed last I knew. But yes

I’m trying to not make things worse than they are. I want to show the court I have tried communicating with her and asking if I can pick them up. I shouldn’t have to but if I do not she will try and make things worse than they are for me.

My point exactly! If I’m offering and willing to watch them then I shouldn’t be denied over her boyfriend of like 4 months. She would stroke out if I did the same(I wouldn’t but if I did).

Thank you for you kind words! I know it’s only been two days and I need to calm my ass down but it is hard! I have pages of documentation. Like me buying them school supplies and clothes and that she went and bought them different stuff and they don’t use or wear what I bought. My son told me that she said they will not wear anything that Ive bought them, even tho the kids are the ones who picked out their clothes and supplies. I will look into that. Thank you!

Divorce is not finalized. Nothing in stone. I allowed her to keep them thru the week as to not disrupt their routine. My schedule at the time didn’t allow me to pick them up from daycare or school. My schedule now does(albeit I have to lose sleep to do it but I don’t care I get to see them) now that I have a lawyer she’s started to deny me or my mom to see them until it’s my time. Ive asked my lawyer if there’s something we can do to at least get like a temporary thing that allows me to pick the…

I’ve been a wreck not being able to see them. I should have known better than to think she wouldn’t. She’s exactly like her mom who did the same thing.

I literally just hired her like two days ago. I am going to have to get up early and go to her office(I work overnights and they are closed when I get off work). This is not cool, may have to retain a new lawyer but I really do not have the money for that now.

Thank you! I think she’s having a manic episode and feels out of control since she thought I’d just roll over and take it. She’s letting her boyfriend watch my kids(which look I wouldn’t mind but I can watch them) and I take precedence over anyone but her.

Yea, I have been very naive during this process. Just now coming to the realization that she’s not going to play nice and keep all the money we get for the kids to herself even tho we agreed to split it 50/50 since we have the kids 50/50. Time to fight for my rights and my kids instead of placating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
