I don't really want to sink to the level of Stasi informant (see: the type of person universally known as a weasel) to win a paltry gender war "victory". That's the type of people that they are. Not for me, boys. Deal with it like a man and if you really don't think it's worth trying to talk to them or you do and they do nothing just don't go to that business and offer them your patronage anymore. Edit: the fact that this is getting downvoted says a lot about the how far this sub has fallen. We'…

Seems especially bad in England, though. I can't imagine someone getting off with less than 13 years for killing someone in the US. (Unless they're a police officer, sad lol).

I hit my abuser as well, because I was tired of the abuse. Thing is if he hit back in self defense it's fine but they just took turns instigating abuse against eachother that's different. From that court decision and the info I mentioned from their counselor and the fact that Johnny is a notorious drunk it seems very likely that he instigated as well. I think it's good that Amber got what was coming to her as well. And it's hard for me to be willing to find fault with Johnny because I'm a big fa…

What a dumb take from her. Hopper is deeply troubled and flawed, but he's a traumatized father figure who is understandably over-protective because A. He lost his daughter and B. Murderous, soulless government agents and monsters are constantly looking for El. Hardly qualifies as toxic masculinity in my book.

The UK case said he was abusive and their relationship counselor described their relationship as mutually abusive. Given that and what I've read about both of them I'm inclined to believe the relationship counselor. Many Germans were individually understandably afraid to speak out against the nazis as well. But they still had a responsibility to band together to stop their government from turning in to what it did. Look what happened because they didn't.
/r/MensRights23/09/22 03:31 PM

Interestingly enough, that's how the world works. It is the responsibility of the people to keep their government in check, especially when it becomes so corrupt and dangerous that they are actively engaged in killing innocent people in a war of conquest. It's a harsh reality, but history has shown us (as Russia is currently showing us) what happens if the people of a country don't take responsibility and stop their corrupt leaders.

While I sort of agree with you on certain aspects of what you're saying the guy in her story wanted her to do oral on him, but wasn't okay with the reverse. Kind of a dumb double standard. Also if you want to have sex with a girl and she wants you to wear a condom, and you have a boundary of not wearing condoms, your option is to not have PiV sex or not have sex with her at all. You don't have to worry about the risk of pregnancy, she does.

I'm not a feminist. I'm very much uninterested in labeling myself as a feminist or an MRA because of the dogma and polarization that both camps perpetrate. In spite of that I'm very much for helping support men's and women's issues and I try to be involved in both spheres and take the good elements from each in order to help make things better for everyone. Claiming that women aren't underprivileged in some areas is not egalitarian. It's just ignorance.

That's an interesting piece of conjecture but even if it's true some of the time it's not mutually exclusive with what I said. Both things could happen and probably do. Sometimes men in leadership attempt to cater to women for political gain or other reasons. Other times they overlook women's needs and issues because of the reasons I already mentioned in my previous comment. And the same kind of situation is true of women leaders towards men only there are less of them.
/r/MensRights20/12/21 04:28 AM

You're misunderstanding what privilege even is in the first place while simultaneously unequivocally declaring what it is and isn't. Because men are underprivileged in some areas doesn't mean they aren't over priveleged in others and vice versa. The same of course goes for women. It's not zero sum game or a binary on/off situation. Based on your rhetoric I doubt I'm going to be able find much of a middle ground with you though so I'll just leave it at that.

Dominating doesn't equal privilege. In the case of leadership positions who get to make choices for everyone (government/corporate leadership/medical research and practice etc) it does. I often balk at the privilege talking points not because I don't think it exists but because I don't think it exists to the extent than the more radical/sensationalist feminists or MGTOW types think it does. But dominating leadership positions absolutely does lead to some privelege for the demographic dominating …
