Try to understand why she's shy. Is she like this with you only, or with everyone? Figure out if the things you are doing are making her more shy or less and identify those. Obviously don't confront her "why u shy?" or "c'mon don't be shy" or stuff like that are usually terrible. Observe her and yourself instead.

Some people enjoy wrecking their own lives just for the dare. The best answer to whatever happened with her is to shrug and move on with other people. Otherwise you'll waste your time at best.

I'd advise you to stick seriously to ONE meaningful goal to achieve during that period so that you don't get anxious from having 10 works in progress. Getting that driver's license seems like an obvious choice to me. That achievement will help you get the ball rolling on the rest.
