Our value is not in the secular or worldly things it offers. As Christian men, our identity should be in being princes and sons of the Most High. Love because of who we are in Him, not because of what we do. Our achievements are filthy rags. Value her as your bride. Also-- so a study together on Dr Eggerichs Love and Respect. It's a game changer.

And yes. 1. Are you part of a Bible believing church community? This can be very edifying for you both 2. Join a Bible study. The why is so that you can stay rooted in the Word and you can change from the inside out. You'll know your value the longer you walk with the Lord, and the overflows will be in your response to your bride.

Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. English Standard Version Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

So now that you know his game plan, you know how to attack it. Don't talk of the past any longer, don't live there, no reason to bring it up. I do know a married couple, who have gone the route of laying out and getting raw and transparent with everything regarding their sexual past. But they've made the choice to forgive each other until look ah…

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he/or she is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, the new has come! When those intrusive thoughts come, take them captive and remind yourself of that verse above. In practice, not telling you or her what to do, but maybe can be helpful not to talk about old relationships in full detail. Men are too visual and it can stick and hurt emotionally/spiritually. In my premarital counseling, I was taught that the only things that needed to be s…

Do a quick search in the Christianity forum and Christianmarriage forum on "fetish", I believe your question is answered there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
