I don't remember that one. What was this "five guys" drama?

It's totally platonic, I swear...

Yeah man, swallowing the RP was a powerful epiphany that put my parent's relationship in perspective. I too feel like my father was one of the most honorable, stoic, hard-working men I've ever met, but he was absolutely beta-fied. My mother, like yours, abused (in the Patrice O'Neil sense) my father, and I used that example as a template for my romantic life as well. Now, I can see how helpless my father was, how jaded and angry my mother was, and how unhappy they both were because she wore the …

I love the members of this sub so much. I'm so happy that the front-page post that could be considered a "calling-out" of TRP has led to some civil and productive arguments. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a mature exchange of ideas on the internet.

Well written! I would recommend that for a delta if I could.

I'm curious. As a student of evolutionary psychology, like many others here, I try to understand behavior in the context of implicitly or explicitly trying to get something out of a situation. What might women's whining signify or what might be the evolutionary advantage of their complaining?

[I’m of the mentality that if you have to fly down to Mexico to find women, you’re not that good at picking up women in general. Real men don’t shoot fish in a barrel, they use their lure "Real men"

(sarcastically) Face it, my dewey adorable days are in the rear-view mirror. Awkward laughter by the men in the audience...

Comments from huffpo: Contrary to Liberal dogma on the matter, it is good advice to warn young women that getting drunk to the point of being incapacitated puts you at increased risk of being sexually assaulted (as well as other harm). (7 likes) Seems reasonable... contrary to conservative, family values, whatev - it is good advice to warn your sons that rape is bad (63 likes) mfw

Actually, I think a lot of men did take a look. I'm pleased to see that our sub #s have been increasing dramatically lately!

The ad is gone now. Does anyone have a mirror, or can you paraphrase what it said?

It really seems absurd and juvenille to play nice in the hopes of stealing another woman's man away, and it seems even more pathetic to get mad when it doesn't happen. Are women really like this?

Actually, my relationship (and pretty much everyone else's) is well known within my cohort, but that's a good point to make, and I suspect that it may be caused by something along those lines. I wonder if it sometimes the energy I get is caused by these women hoping I will cheat or leave my current girlfriend.

I completely agree. It obviously feels like shit when you are cheated on, but it takes two-to-tango. In fact, I would blame the girl more than the guy if she was in a relationship...

Yeah... that part really seemed nonsensical. So many people struggle with varying severeness of depression at some point in their lives. It would be simply ignorant to judge someone based on a past experience with that depression.
