Let death set you free from your fears.Aah ok I see. I agree it sets you free. However, I think your friend is in a unique situation you shouldn't relate to just yet. I feel that its all about perception. You're right, it could rob you of an exciting life if you get depressed about knowing what you do is insignificant (which I don't believe is true). On the flip side it could free you, like you said, by fearing you won't get enough done if you die early. So although I wouldn't make death my friend, I'd make it more of a friendly enem… | /r/TheRedPill | 18/11/14 05:35 AM
Let death set you free from your fears. You think not fearing death makes you strong? Truly, in that light, it is a weakness. You will commit actions with blind courage and little to no rational thought. Although I am very, very happy you got through your suicidal stage, try and think about death like this instead: "I do fear death; I fear that I will die before I get to accomplish notable things in my life." This is straight out of The Dark Knight Rises. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but it is the scene when Bruce is in The Pit and… | /r/TheRedPill | 18/11/14 04:55 AM
The Lonely Alpha PathDo what you have to do. I'm not sure about your circumstances, but if you're uncomfortable with your friends and their behavior let it be known. The ones who care will try and keep you close (maybe even take shots at you, but in the end it will work out), the ones who shrug it off are probably just acquaintances. Surround yourself with those you think share the same ideals and goals as you. Shrug off the negativity and push forward. One day it will subside, and something else will take its place… | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 03:44 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathTo an extent they are. But you must know anger will keep you stagnant. When you take that knowledge, and instead of being angry you turn it into your creative canvas, you have won half the battle. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 03:31 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathYou summed up everything more concisely than I did...lol. I use the past to guide my decision, the future to envision my new self, and the present to put my goal into action. I don't focus on whether I'm BP or Alpha, I focus on my current state, and go from there. At this point, I see them more as behavior in the moment than who I am overall. Your last part holds to true, and definitely should have been something I put in the post. Thanks for your take and feedback. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 03:27 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathActually your right, for some people its just not the right medicine. Lone wolf is like the extreme monk mode, where you find yourself in a social circle with those who don't have the same interests/goals as you do. Cutting the bad apples off the tree helps in some cases, which could mean "lone wolf." There's a risk to it though if you cut off everyone, even those that care. Maybe its something I should add to the post. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 03:23 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathYour right, its a lonely path, because it is you alone that walks that path to improvement. Don't forget your friends and family though , they are there for the ride and would love to help you on your journey. Your mom is just worried you are on a self destructive path. There is nothing wrong with being "beta" with your mother, in the sense that you are not dominant with her. Telling her you love her will put her at ease. Good luck man, like you said, its a bump on the road. I'm sure you'll pull… | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 03:20 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathSorry to hear that. And I'm sorry for the hostility. I agree that there are some people that take what this place preaches and twists it into their own ideals. Sounds familiar doesn't it? I'm thinking religion... | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 06:30 AM
The Lonely Alpha PathI respect your opinion. However, to me, theredpill is about finding a way to improve your sexual strategy. The way to start, is self improvement. What I'm hearing from you is that this subreddit is full of losers and ex losers. So what does that make you? You know, this place is for people who want to improve. It could be that there are people here who have good lives and just want to improve them even further. Lone wolf and monk mode are good ways to go about improving your life. For some peopl… | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 06:05 AM
The Lonely Alpha PathI think that might be a slight exaggeration, don't you think? As for finding people to trust, I have them. But I don't go around trusting everyone I have a conversation with, which is why I keep my inner circle small. As for below average social skills, that's a bold assumption. If were deducing personalities due to posts, you wouldn't want to know my opinion. Disagree if you like, but don't insult. Especially over the internet. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 05:28 AM
The Lonely Alpha PathYea that is the dream. Maybe one day I'll get there, who knows. You're right with the rest too. Although sometimes I like to try again just for the fuck of it if I was only in it for the sex. If that doesn't work, just like you said, you next her and move on. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 01:30 AM
The Lonely Alpha PathShit I apologize man, wasn't paying attention. You're absolutely right, although I'm all up for having an opinion. I hope he changes his mind, it would be a shame if he spent a lot of time here and didn't take in all the fundamentals. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/11/14 01:25 AM
The Lonely Alpha PathI've read off the sidebar. If you haven't noticed there is stuff in the text that is straight off the sidebar. Try and read this through a different lens. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 10:27 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathI agree. However lonely is however you take it. For me, it is I that walks this path of improvement. I can see why it gives off a needy frame, but this is not something I boast about. This is just how I feel. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 10:26 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathI guess its just my take on things. I still treat women equally, this was not a post about treating them like shit as a response. I know I'm not alone, I have friends and family that I wouldn't trade for the world. But along the path of change I lost friends and made new ones, ones that share the same interests as me. This is what I mean by "lonely." Guess I should have used solitude instead in the title. But when I walk this path to improve my life its mine and mine alone. When something gets d… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 10:23 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathI agree, it is that moment outside of your responsibilities that you have a chance to improve who you are. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 07:10 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathI completely agree. Doing something complicated on your own will most likely translate to failure. However, I've tried to describe the path a beta takes to becoming alpha . And by alpha I mean: A man who has achieved a lot despite the obstacles he needed to overcome, and has made friends in the process. He gets what he wants (obviously within reason), uses his logic and intellect rationally, and doesn't take bullshit from anyone, man and women alike. Most betas I know usually are surrounded by o… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 07:08 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathEdit to say sorry for the long read. It's good that you're pursuing this career path, if that is in fact what you want. But it doesn't seem to fulfill you completely if you are envious of others. I might be wrong, I know nothing about you, but maybe you could think about a hobby you once did that you really enjoyed, and thought to yourself long ago that, that was what you were going to do even if it sounded crazy. For me, I want to become a writer. I write all day and take different classes to i… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 06:57 PM
The Lonely Alpha PathOk, I guess we can agree to disagree then. Status and power have nothing to do with my understanding of TRP. Your emphasis on those things may be more unique to you than you think. Likewise. I've learned from a lot of experience, it's not like I joined today and feel enlightened. Men are men because of achieved status. Women are women because of ascribed status. One chases the opposite. Therefore, women chase a man who is high in status. But these are my views, not everyone has to agree. There's… | /r/TheRedPill | 08/11/14 05:23 PM
The true alpha: emotionally separating yourself from the situationVery well put. What you mean goes hand-in-hand with what I wrote. High SMV will trigger her emotional roller coaster for a random girl in this example. To project that, I believe being in that state allows you to be able to consciously think of a way to boost SMV while also displaying emotion. Furthermore, it could help you detect her shit tests more easily and answer appropriately. I think of it as just a skill that could improve your game. | /r/TheRedPill | 31/10/14 02:17 AM
The true alpha: emotionally separating yourself from the situationI completely agree, too much of that behavior restricts you from creating a bond with someone. I believe that there is a happy medium in between, where you can switch between both at will. | /r/TheRedPill | 31/10/14 02:03 AM
The true alpha: emotionally separating yourself from the situationGreat quote from a great movie. I should probably watch this again | /r/TheRedPill | 30/10/14 12:47 AM
The true alpha: emotionally separating yourself from the situationYea I didn't know how to get the 2 up there, but I assumed people would know what that meant. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/10/14 12:44 AM
The true alpha: emotionally separating yourself from the situationYou raise very good points, I had no idea buddhists actually had names for these and I'm not surprised. I agree and you explained it much more concisely than I did. What I tried to convey is seeing the world of alphas that are outside the matrix as well as the matrix itself, effectively being at the very top of the food chain. | /r/TheRedPill | 29/10/14 11:47 PM
