And heeere's the rest of the story from wikipedia, which raises even more interesting issues: After Letourneau's release from prison in 2004, Fualaau, then age 21, filed a motion in court, requesting a reversal of the no-contact order against Letourneau.[19] A few days later the request was granted.[28] Letourneau and Fualaau were married on May 20, 2005 in the city of Woodinville, Washington in a ceremony at the Columbia Winery.[3] Exclusive access to the wedding was given to the television sho…

A statistic that would help sort this out: suicide rates for divorced men v. women who don't have children?

I have to say, with all due respect for the ancient faith of Judaism, that circumcision is medically unnecessary, potentially dangerous, and done without the informed consent of the human being involved. These factors I think must outweigh religious tradition.

The boyfriend's record was a year old. One might ask why Peterson did nothing about it. As for her, I agree, horrible judgment. Single mothers should check the crim records of men they date and stay strictly away from dangerous men. As for the criminal who killed a little child, sick fuck should be kept in the general population at the pen he goes to so the other inmates can let him know what they think of a man who murders a toddler.

Just trying to figure out what you're saying. Sounds like you're saying it's her fault, though : 1) we don't know why she's alone, if Peterson left her and his child, and 2) a man killed the child, not her, and not, I guess, with her collusion in any way.

So the killer has no responsibility, he just can't help himself?

Do we know why Peterson left this woman alone and vulnerable? It seems to be implied without evidence that she walked away from Peterson. But did Peterson walk away from her? Why was she a single mother? Is anyone going to seriously blame a person (the mother) who has no legal culpability, for what a man did?

Ok. Bad mom aside, your daughter, maybe, wants to know her father. Mom may not press things, so you seem to have the option of never knowing if you have a daughter. Make your choice. Re child support, if she raised your daughter without State help, it's not an issue. Find out if it's an issue. Not everything that happens in life is about money, dig?

So dude, I am watching you. Come back without the "So", I'll know. And respond. Because you're the worst kind of troll, you're somebody who makes things up out of thin air to provoke people who are already hurt. Fuck you.

Wait, I don't get this...the patriarchy candidate is making a bunch of supersexist, disgusting statements about women, ironically...this columnist dude picked up on that without seeing the irony...ok so far. So now: the Patriarchy candidate actually knows everything he's saying is horseshit, and he's a feminist, and just pointing out extremist MRA talk?

This is a fraught issue. I would like to know Jewish MRAs positions on this.

I think it all depends on who gets a Brazilian shave. More pay for that group.

You seem to know about this, so I have a followup: what if somebody now murdered him? Can you murder a dead man?

Horrifying, and sad indictment of women who got caught up in the hate also. Would like to see some stats - number of women vs men as perpetrators in this genocidal event in human history.

What about all the scientists worrying over overpopulation? This is very one-sided. What if older people in this new situation end up continuing to contribute to the economy? Is the doc maker seriously saying we need to go back to "patriarchy" to force women to make lots of babies? How do you make women have more babies than they want to make without coercion? My own answer is, look at Iceland - equality and 4 plus babies per woman. Why? Real support - mothers have free childcare, time off, and …

Men are needed in primary education, but since it's a gender-restricted "women's" job, the pay is too low for men to work in the field. How get more men? Raise the status of elementary school teachers, and raise the pay. The problem will be over.

How about a few facts? This doesn't add up. No actual legal consequences, and this is a misdemeanor at best, with a lot of the community saying, that was fun. We need to know why his parents think this poor boy killed himself.

When women are not the primary employees. Check out what happens in countries where women become the majority of doctors. Income declines to zip.

Hey, So Dude is back with his weekly tale of misandry. Sorry, So Dude, until you start posting some verifiable stories I won't be wasting my time. It is very strange how many guys write up misogynistic tales on this sub. It's so insulting to men who accept being lied to and make statements based on the lies presented to them. Please be careful.

Hmm, well, I'm not getting how any radfem culture war is involved here. I mean, the article was written by a man and doesn't show any particular ideology. Radfems aren't much into classism and racism, they are into sexism mostly. So the title seems misleading: "female supremacist" is a man who has some crits of a video game. I'd leave it at that.

Stats re percentage of women involved in genocide vs men? Lacking here. She points out a few women. But there were thousands of genocidalists. She talks about 5 or so women. How does this compare to male genocidalists?

a) when women go into a field, the pay goes down. b) women are expected and encouraged, with traditional gender roles, to go into this field. In fact in US women were pretty much limited, if they wanted to earn a living, to this field, for the last 200 years. c) men choose not to go into such a low-pay job.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
