Learn to keep the Internet a resource of knowledge rather than an extension of your knowledge. Find time to unplug and enjoy nature, even if it's a local park or your back yard without a cell phone or MP3 player. Keep your mind sharp and focused. Learn or keep polished basic mental and longform math. At least know how to mentally calculate tips of varying amounts. Build and keep a monetary security net for "just in case". Also build up a retirement plan and start now. Your funds will go much fur…

Verify that it's indeed saved, as this function has failed on me more times than I remember.

Red Wing also has the ability to repair your shoes as well, so a worn sole and pristine upper is not necessarily an issue with them. :)

This type of situation caused me to both leave my first job and also find feminism completely distasteful at the same time.

You can enable and disable them at will if desired.

The length is not so much of an issue in the US as the more deceptive girth. You might be interested in the three sizing charts on the sidebar. The past postings are also surprisingly informative.

Check out the sidebar and such with /r/bigdickproblems. This problem is not uncommon in the USA for the more endowed.

I've not paid close attention to anyone's driving from inside the vehicle ever since I failed to fathom how my mother was unable to navigate doable, yet floorpan-deep, snow.

They'll stop accelerating RIGHT when the car is about to change gears, and break oddly What the fuck?! That's... I... I have no words to describe this absurdity... Please tell me that this isn't true.

For what it's worth, this is a good comparison tool: http://howlongismyschlong.com/ Something to keep in mind is that angle can be very deceiving as well.

Beards are by no means for the lazy if one still desires to keep a neat appearance...

Regarding dress, one can still, for instance, get away with excessive focusing upon vehicle maintenance over personal appearance if he carries himself as if it were naturally important to appear as such. This can easily depend upon your level of fitness as mentioned. I was actually nonverbally challenged by a guy to let me know his stake when "proudly filthy" (greasy hair, dirt-embedded clean-cut jeans, unshaven, grease-stained knuckles, and smelling of sweat and dirt). If I were to go at it aga…

In my case, it's likely attitude towards how I view self and the world. Granted, I'm not overly sure how to express or evaluate what has and is going on, so it's worth taking with a grain of salt. Decided to recently adopt the "embrace the suck" and self-confidence flowed in to fill some of the void. Over the next week I was forced to take command of the helm in a mad dash to get stuff done due to a sudden surge in freight. Almost immediately a woman who I encounter almost daily went from glanci…

Screenshot of /new for posterity. There is indeed a rather suspicious gap between 4 and 13 hours ago as of the screenshot, but I can't say for certain if it's natural or not without viewing the modlog.

Don't go down that avenue. Only the mods and admins can say for certain as to what occurred.

It's likely a continuation of the introspective view of the site as a whole that's carried over from when it was far smaller and thus actually had a centralised community that overlapped quite thoroughly. Considering it as a community for some time has really been an overarching stereotype that's taken far longer to erode than the community that originally built it.

It's actually a bygone from when reddit had a central community before things got too large and fragmented.

Enough people post via mobile apps that fail to present an easily understood comment vs post reply capability that I just take it as such and move on.

How the hell does that even work? Having that sort of excuse brought up is a WTFBBQ-level of a tip-off of something being not right with the situation.

For those wanting a link: http://archive.today Does it still load adverts via the original scripts? Edit: Nevermind. It looks like they simply serve a snapshot version of the advertising as their server saw. :) Saved pages will have no active elements and no scripts, so they keep you safe as they cannot have any popups or malware!

The post's author explains the glossing. The post is designed to be a click-bait to "help" resolve puzzlement and reinforce views. Nothing more.

I can't watch many movies, shows, or even adverts of any type these days without becoming infuriated by the misandry.

There's no room for their bullshit in a world of hard facts. There is a majority bias that does occur in some branches. Don't pooh-pooh this lest it gains too much of a weight to be ignorable.

Agreed. There are certainly products in which it really doesn't matter. Reducing the long term issues and papercuts in balance to your budget is of the larger importance than buying the best in all.

In this context, I've been ending up with commercial/industrial quality tools that are more complex than a wrench if I'm looking to buy new. You have a pretty good chance at having to pay more and are required to research, but the end quality is not comparable to the standard consumer stuff. A possible plus side is that, for instance, my soldiering iron is entirely rebuildable via ordering the parts direct from the manufacturer.

I think we need to start flagging these kinds of posts for removal and enforce a strict lurk-before-you-post community rule. Agreed, hands down. I lurk somewhat often and refuse to post or comment on more than non-TRP stuff lest my heavily habitual beta tendencies dilute the signal yet further.
