“We have a great relationship otherwise” No you don’t. You have to ask your man for pocket money. That’s embarrassing girl. 😬 Also at that salary difference, he should be covering ALL the bills.

Is it funny? Or does she have to laugh or she’d cry instead? Nobody’s laughing here. This is tragic. Imagine wasting your life living with someone that can’t do something as basic as grocery shop. I could never.

Absolutely, if OP is serious about her diet and it’s a big part of her life that she frequently talked to him about, then this just can’t be an accident. If OP was vegan, would he send her over a meat board? It’s equally stupid to send cookies to someone who doesn’t eat any junk food. He was just trying to push her boundaries because if you go for the core beliefs (i.e. I don’t ever want to eat this food due to my health), it’s easier to manipulate her on everything. It’s up to OP if she ever wa…

Yeah this was a huge red flag. Why would anyone have to ask their partner if they want a gift for their birthday? Unless someone specifically tells you “I don’t feel comfortable receiving gifts”, then it’s just a show of good manners and care to give someone a proper gift on their special day. It goes without saying.

Yeah, only a man can nut inside then say he’s been fooled. What did he think was gonna happen? He doesn’t strike me as particularly intelligent anyway, especially thinking that an attractive 25 year old woman would want anything to do with his balding, wrinkly ass, other than financial stability. He mentions she’s from another country and wanted to send money to support her family - so she is likely from a less well-off country like Eastern Europe or maybe Asia. Idiot thought he was gonna get a …

Honestly? I think you’re overthinking it and driving yourself mad with it. I don’t think about men. At all. They are not on my mind, they are not in my thoughts, I don’t consider them at all when I make decisions. I don’t care what men think. I don’t care what they believe, what their preferences are or what opinions they so badly want to express. I don’t listen to men. I don’t care about their standards. And that means I do things I love whether they are what men “like” or not. I shave my legs …

He’s mad cause he can see she would be an amazing wife and mother. He wants her, she doesn’t want him and he knows she can easily do better. If he genuinely has money saved up for a wedding (which very well could just be a lie, let’s be honest) then he probably wants to get married. He’s not REALLY asking how many men are “financially prepared” at that age - he clearly thought that he WAS prepared. That his shitty condo and a car and 30k for a wedding were enough. She crushed his ego and now he’…

I’m so done with women’s age being used against them when it comes to having children, miscarriages, stillbirths, genetic issues etc. when there is so much evidence that sperm quality begins to decline from when they are just 20 and directly affects all of the above. If you have a kid after you’re 35 you’re labelled “geriatric” but an old scrote can manipulate a younger woman into pregnancy and none of these risks are considered medically, despite the scientific evidence. Not to mention that men…

I can’t be the only one who seriously gets “the ick” from men acting like babies when they get the slightest sniffles. 😬 It’s an immediate turn off. It also makes you think… how would they manage if they ACTUALLY got sick?

Men. They really think things like sore throats and sore shoulders constitute “health issues”. You’re just in your 30s, Jerry. Can’t believe women can go through things like ovarian cysts, endo, PCOS and not even be taken seriously by their doctors whilst men like this here manchild won’t stfu about their sniffles.

When you have a child you realise just HOW LITTLE is expected of men. “He looked after his own kids this week? Wow you’re lucky, mine would never”. I also always get any and all calls related to our kid (like calls from our dr, daycare etc.) So of course men think they can get away doing nothing, that’s the message they constantly get. I recently cut off a pick me friend who I think is beyond help. She’s playing wifey for a guy who she had to force to propose to her, force to have a kid with her…

I had to go no contact with a LVM family member because he kept arguing with me about how prostitution is a glamorous job that most women choose and enjoy. His argument? There is a number of sex workers on Twitter who say so. Completely ignored me when I showed a number of studies which showed how most women in prostitution REALLY live, how much money they make, the unfortunate backgrounds they come from, and how much abuse they go through before, during and after prostitution. He was completely…

Even before checking I could just tell this was directed by a man, and one who obviously understands nothing about women's expectations of the romance genre. This is why they should just leave it to women, because they come up with this sort of shit. As a romance author, I would NEVER put an ugly, unaccomplished, lying shit as the lead. Sorry but this isn't a romance film aimed at women, this is a comfort piece aimed at men.

I am so tired of hearing that "rape is just so difficult to prove" - it's not, they actively choose not to believe women, even when the evidence is there. They somehow always manage to find evidence for all other crimes. If someone gets stabbed in the leg, they wouldn't say "oh honestly I wouldn't bother reporting this... There was no CCTV or witnesses, it's just gonna be SO hard to prove that you didn't ask to be stabbed. Did you say anything that would've made them stab you?" Except I'd rather…

Her advisor was SO RIGHT because men are mostly a burden when you have a new baby. They often don't wake up as well as women do at night, if you're breastfeeding then obviously they won't be any help there, they often start getting weirdly jealous over the new baby (this is SUPER common), they will often start pestering you for sex soon after (or other things, since you can't have penetrative sex for the first 6 weeks). I've heard of maybe two instances where the man actually cooked and cleaned …

I know people have already mentioned sperm donation but I wanted to add to this - I've only seen a handful, a tiny handful, of men who are actually good fathers. What seems to be a HVM can sometimes turn into LVM after a child is born. Having a child on your own means you can make all decisions for them and you don't have to ask permission from some scrote every time you want to go abroad or move houses or fight over who gets to do Christmas this year.

It's just... not funny. Especially because of the large percentage of pilots who do in fact sleep with flight attendants. My (male and gay) flight attendant friend always spilled tea about who was sleeping with who, who was cheating on who, and sometimes he was flirted with as well. It's a thing. This is also a great way to make sure that the woman who finally matches with this POS already has low self-esteem and doesn't set strong boundaries or expect a man to make her feel secure. Men want to have all the benefits their fathers and grandfathers had (basically having a domestic slave...) without any of the commitments or responsibilities. They use the word "feminism" to cover up just how ridiculous it is. But also - if he's into you, he will pay. If he really sees a future with you, paying for dinner will be such a small price to pay and completely worth it.

Pretty young THING. Not a woman, not a person, a thing. Not accomplished, inspiring, funny or clever but pretty and young - the two features that are the most fleeting cause, you know, we fucking age just like men. The idea that men age better than women is such a weird myth. Have these guys even been outside? If he calls you insecure for setting boundaries like no sexting other women, no kissing/sleeping with other women, not getting off to sex work… well, then he’s trying to manipulate you and possibly emotionally abuse you. It’s along the same lines of “if you loved me you would show it to me physically” that our parents warned us about. And the thing is, they are not at all consistent in this. In their warped view, when they look at sex workers bodies or imagine themselves having sex with them, it…

You're completely right, women are not men. For example, men with mental health issues are statistically more likely to abuse various substances and be aggressive. Women are statistically more likely to seek help. I'm bisexual and I would be open to dating a woman with these issues, but not a man. From what I've seen, women who live with their families tend to take care of them - helping out their parents, working and actively contributing to their household. Men tend to shout at their mums, pla…

Lol, the comments are so sad. But like, pathetic sad. I think it goes without saying - ladies, don't just go out with random ass strangers who come up to you on the street. I know everyone starts out as strangers but they could literally be ANYONE and you wouldn't know as you have zero links. This is somewhat related. I’m a mom to a boy and I would say to all women here who have sons or are thinking of having children one day - be mindful of how you raise them, too. When I’m not sure, I often think “is this how I would raise him if he were a girl?”. It’s super easy to idealise your own kids - it’s cute when they’re little but then they grow up into disrespectful little shits. It’s super high risk and for what? To have an entitled man pant over you for 3 minutes? Engaging in male sexual behaviours is NOT a healthy way of celebrating our sexuality as women, nor is it sexual liberation (it’s the opposite, I’d say. It only really benefits men).

This exactly. He doesn’t treat his girlfriends like people, it is very obvious that they are more of an accessory and a sex toy than anything else. He probably even has more respect to Winslet (or at least can see her as more of a person) but his girlfriends are closer to a 2 year phone contract than they are to an equal partner.

Look at how his parents split responsibilities. This isn’t 100% accurate of course but people bring A LOT from home, and it can become deeply ingrained. If his mother is slaving for her husband everyday then that might be his expectation too. Observe what he does at home for himself. People romanticise the 1950s. I think it's one thing to appreciate the fashion or music from back then but to say that life back then was somehow better for women or even acceptable is disgusting. Whenever I see one of those "tradwives" that larp the 1950s with their husbands it makes my blood boil. Important to add is that, depending on the country, separate finances might only be an informal agreement between two married people. There is a reason why lower earning spouses are entitled to spousal support - because you’re meant to share the money. Honestly, on the scale of 1 to 10 of sacrifices, pregnancy and childbirth are right at the very top and not having sex for a few months doesn’t even make the list. Pregnancy and childbirth were the most challenging things I’ve ever done, and this was for a very much wanted and planned pregnancy. There’s a lot to it that people don’t tell you about/you don’t find out about until you’re in the thick of it. Humiliation and abuse of pregnant women and women in labour is incredibly common, in some countries as many as one in three women report mistreatment. source This is all mostly women having their own babies, I imagine surrogates would get less respect. These tend to be poor, uneducated women so exactly the type that would be targeted (as always) if we allow women’s bodies to be seen as a product that can be used.

Men don’t leave because 1. They often generally don’t do much at all anyway without their wives taking initiative or having to repeat themselves and 2. Marriage often benefits men more than women. This is up to the point of divorce where women can rightfully claim their assets. Many scrotes don’t think that the time, physical and emotional labour, your own money that you poured into your relationship with them (plus if you have kids then everything that comes with that) etc. is equal to the valu…

This guy obviously doesn't even understand the process of buying a house - there's no such thing as buying a house "on a whim". He may also THINK that she has no clue what she's doing but the fact that her business is doing well is proof that she does and he's just chatting shit. I know too many ambitious, hard-working people whose businesses failed to believe that she's just going off pure luck. This guy also seems to have unresolved mental health issues that he's trying to pass on to her, subc…

Absolutely! The idea that men are perfectly capable of having a child until the day they die is completely false and needs to die. And sperm quality and quantity is just one thing. If they keep getting off to degenerate pornography then they might not even be able to get it up or orgasm at all which also means no kids, even though the fault is “mechanical”. Viagra, other meds, sex therapy etc. don’t always work neither.

Yet women are constantly blamed for everything, from infertility (many doctors will put women through very invasive and potentially damaging tests before even checking the guys sperm count, for which he just needs to nut in a cup) to children being born with special needs or defects (like what you mentioned above).

Let's think for a second about the kind of men they're trying to attract. The trend could be: "If you had 24 hours to impress me, what would we do?" "If you had 24 hours to try and make me fall in love, what would we do?" "If you had 24 hours to treat me to the best day of my life, what would we do?" But no, the trend is if you had 24 hours with me, and I couldn't say no. I'm sure you can imagine the sorts of comments that are left under these women's videos. People want to argue that we should …

I met my husband through a mutual friend. I think this is one of the best ways to meet men - it’s somewhat safer than meeting a complete stranger off the internet and you’re likely to have similar interests. I think one of the challenges of online dating is that you take two people from completely different environments. It can feel new and exciting but it’s also super easy to clash and there’s more room for unexpected outcomes.

For real. And even IF she was legally an adult, a teacher dating his student at any age is predatory. If a guy sees his students as sexual beings or potential romantic partners then he needs to be removed, whether they’re underage or not. This is true for any position of authority. It’s gross.

Few years ago before my husband became my husband we had a huge house party. One of the mates he invited made one of my female friends very uncomfortable, he was sleazy and persistent. I later found he kept trying to get her to drink more, too. Me and my husband cut him out SO FAST. Told him what a disgusting piece of shit he was and that if we could we’d report him to the police. We told all of his (male) friends and honestly? None of them cared. Some said said “yeah that’s sleazy” (to us) but …

This particular article focused on stuff like girls being sent unsolicited dick pics but you are SO right about this as well. Let’s not forget that PLL is targeted at teenage girls, not boys. Gotta teach them young though, right?

Editing to add: As long as it’s almost all girls/women it’s also almost all men/boys. This is disgusting. The next generation of boys hasn’t even left school and they’re already pornsick and have zero respect for girls and women. These young girls and women are completely objectified by the boys and young men. They quite literally don’t see them as people. And this isn’t just a few schools - according to the Ofsted Chief Inspector this is happening in all UK schools. Where do we even go from her…

I agree with this so much. I don't think that boys should be kind to girls BECAUSE they're girls but because above all they are people. When men harass, stalk, and abuse women they often don't think of them as real people, with feelings, thoughts and lives of their own. But they may well see their gender. As a parent I will say that no, boys won't just "be boys". Not mine, anyway! They will respect everyone's thoughts and feelings, they will use their words instead of battering each other sensel…

Yeah, I think it's projection. Men have much harder time accepting ageing and their mortality. I mean, sure, women can technically experience a midlife crisis but think about how they experience it vs the shit that men do. This includes going after younger women or even girls. I'm in my early 20s and any older guy that approaches me is automatically branded as a complete and utter loser. It’s just so disrespectful and shows severe lack of commitment. Of course we all have eyes and of course we will find people attractive. I totally would’ve had my child on my own if I never met my husband or another guy worth my time. Men need to get it through their thick skulls that we’re now at a point where their presence is not required for us to become mothers. My salary would’ve allowed for me to raise a child independently so being a single mom actually sounded kinda awesome! Women have always been told to shrink themselves and their wants and needs. It’s always been okay for a man to want a beautiful wife who took care of herself but women would be told to “look within” and called shallow if they had any standards at all. We’ve always been taught to lower our standards, meanwhile men would NEVER. In order for this to work, men also made up that the worst thing that can happen to a woman is not getting married. Absolutely this! You should never have to ask. When I moved in with my husband there were some differences in the little things we did, like storage and the way we fold clothes, bedding and towels (I follow the KonMari method). I only had to say once “I prefer to do it this way” and that’s it. You shouldn’t have to repeat yourself. This shit became such a common complaint on my pregnancy groups after the babies were born that I just don’t go on them anymore. It hurts to read. The advice? “Be gentle with yourself. Don’t divorce in the 1st year. Maybe he’s feeling anxious or depressed.” Riiiiiight. Don’t have a baby with him if you’re not 100% sure he’s going to divide responsibilities fairly. You’re so right. Men like to act like frequent casual sex is harmless if they don’t get anyone pregnant. But high risk HPV strains can cause not only cervical cancer but also mouth and anal cancer, and these can occur in both men and women. I also once read a story where a man didn’t tell his pregnant wife he caught an STD cheating (I believe it was gonorrhea) - it spread to the baby and caused permanent blindness. Don’t ever sleep with reckless men who sleep around - they are not responsible en…

By marrying someone who earns less than you, you’re setting yourself up for lots of potential issues. There’s not a single man alive who would be worth the risk for me. This will depend on where you live but where I’m from, in the case of divorce the lower earning party is entitled to things like spousal support payments (and yes, this is something you pay even after divorce and potentially indefinitely/until they decide to marry again), payments towards the child even if you split childcare 50/…
