Men who post whingey tantrum rants in purple pill don’t notice that women outside that bracket exist and only count ‘women’ as those they want sexually/who would boost their own status amongst other men, because they don’t view women as full humans but like sexy animals

That’s not what the Social Contract means. It’s broadly about our rights & obligations within a large scale, complex society with legal and political structures that existed before you showed up, so you best play ball. Now, some would agree that there is no social contract (or at least no moral basis for it), but it’s definitely not much to do with whether buying someone dinner means they have to bang. That’s a question of proper dating etiquette and sexual customs.

It’s always sounds completely fucking deranged to me when people are saying ‘far-left’ and ‘communism’ when talking about changed cultural values through the period following the 1970s which was, and remains, a landscape of deregulation of finance and trade, reduced public spending, tax evasion and outright right wing neoliberal economic philosophy colonising every facet of public and private lives, including the rapid individualisation of moral philosophy. Money and power has shifted towards th…

Completely. They don’t even understand that this is their attitude enough to hide it, but still get all uppity and offended when you point out how they come across. They really don’t see them as real people but extensions of their own image.

The obsession with women’s looks and amount of crying that goes on in this sub about ‘I don’t get to fuck the hot girls’ reaffirms my belief that men have a very warped view of what women are. We are all fucking disgusting. Anyone saying differently is hiding something.

Have you considered that women might be human beings with their own wishes, desires, feelings and free will and not a resource to be shared around for men?

Sorry for calling your thing stupid, that was unnecessary. But I think attractive and charming men generally have the same goals of willing bodies, they just do it more frequently and with what I imagine you would think of as higher standard (although you’d be surprised). The rest is still secondary to ego. But even by your own reckoning I would argue women are completely different from sexually selective men, as those men usually aren’t at physical risk from the women they’re banging, and aren’…

More successful by what appear to be men’s terms (basically finding willing bodies) but that’s not a universal measure of success. Women may prefer to see success as not sleeping with arseholes and sex obsessed creeps, or perhaps finding meaningful connections with someone whose company they enjoy, or makes them feel safe and not under threat etc etc. In short - fucking stupid thing to say

Theyre proving nothing. Rather you’re cherry picking anecdotal evidence to confirm your preexisting bias

That’s mental. Sex work isn’t just sex? What you’re describing is emotional labour, which sex work involves but so do many other things. By your definitions we all all prostituting ourselves for something. You got a job? Prostitute.

There’s a gulf between ‘have done it’ and ‘routinely do it’. It would be ridiculous to characterise half the population as mercenary because of this. You have done plenty of things even you would find unsavoury if you were ever objective about yourself, but don’t do them so routinely that you would accept being characterised on those actions. It’s a preposterous leap from seeing this to accepting all the whiny redpill bullshit. Given it is 1/3 that have done this, but not routinely, the proporti…
