I decided to share my assault experience when #metoo was a thing. That was a mistake.

Like 90% of my problems are caused by external factors. I'm not sure how paying someone $159/h is going to help that.

Every man I know has had sex with his partner because it was easier than having a fight

You didn't put time and effort into finding a quality partner in your 20's and 30's and now are upset you couldn't find a quality partner. Sounds like a you problem.

It's fairly simple. I will be 40 this year, no one has ever really cared how I feel in my life. People say they care but their actions during some of the hardest times of my life say they don't. My feelings usually end up minimalized or pushed aside because other people's feelings are more important. Also, I would love to hear about what it is that you expect I don't expect it will ever change.

The best therapy I have ever had was talking to my cat. She doesn't have any solutions to my problems, but she's far cheaper than therapists I have tried who also don't have solutions to my problems. Talking to my partner about my problems has always made things worse.

you are an incel. I wonder if my wife knows.

Most guys I know have had sex with a partner they didn't really want because it was easier than having a fight for turning them down.

Never report a woman to HR. At best HR will brush off your concerns. At worst it will be turned around to be your fault.

That's why my wife and I go out to dinner on the 16th lol

Maybe half in my experience. Newer places tend to have them.

Best case; you get a court order that you don't really follow because you're both reasonable adults and everything works out fine. Worse case: you don't get a court order and never see your kid again. I see 0 reason not to get one.

It's cute you think that would go well for me.

I got told off for "mansplaining" in a meeting I was invited to as the subject matter expert for correcting a woman who was completely wrong. It was an interesting experience.

I have a newborn daughter and this kind of shit legit scares me.

You laugh but at work I have had the argument that we shouldn't use gendered terms for electrical connectors. More than once.

Because last time around the other choices were worse.

I've got permanent chronic pain and insomnia because no doctors would believe me for 3 years. I love reading the argument that doctors always take men seriously.

I broke my back lifting servers because "women don't do that sort of thing"

As someone who spent a lot of time and effort looking for help and support when I was younger he is 100% right.

I once got accused of mansplaining in a meeting that I was invited to, as the subject matter expert.

It's far easier to say "I am a man and thus do not have an opinion"

I love how me telling my boss I want a raise is sexist somehow.

I don't get why guys put up with it. If my wife routinely said "I hate all men" we would have a serious issue.

I've learned that people who say this want men to open up, but want them to do it "correctly." If you don't open up in the way they want/expect it usually ends badly for you.

My wife and I had fertility issues. There was ass loads of support for her. The people at the clinic were so nice, there were support groups, free resources, everything. Me? You're here to pay right? Go into the little room, do your thing in the cup pay and get out.

Don't forget that trickle down feminism will fix men's problems.

I don't like going to the doctor because the doctor never believes me, can't be bothered to examine me and always acts like I'm an inconvenience.

I've never had a man tell me to man up. Had lots of women tell me that though.

Don't worry, that shit doesn't change when you have to take "sensitivity training" as an adult.

Given the progress on men's issues in the last 40 years they're doing a shitty job of it.

It will prepare them for adulthood when they won't have men only spaces.

I've been accused of mansplaining in a meeting, that I was invited too as the subject matter expert. I'm literally the person in the company who knows the most about this, and you invited me to explain it...

Do you think she should make less than you make for doing the exact same job? No? Then you're a feminist. This is not difficult, Jeremy. I'm glad she cleared that up, i'm just a man who's too stupid to decide for himself what labels apply to him.

I'm stoic because every single time in my life I've shown emotion it's made things worse. There's only so many times you can be burned by the pan handle before you won't pick the pan up any more.

I'm confused, my mother hunts and loves eating the animals she's hunted, does that make her complacent "with male power in its most vile and repugnant forms"?
/r/MensRights24/10/13 08:51 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
