The thing is that we should never have been married in the first place. We were wrong for each other. We rushed into it, because we both had a fantasy stuck our heads, and we were blind and couldn't see each our incompatibility. I did nothing but try to work on it for the past year, and he was fighting not to talk about it and shut me out. I tried to explain in my post that I am humbled and I realise the foolishness of that original decision to get married. And I think it makes sense to separate…

I agree. But there needs to be love. The love died. I also think he had some particular issues, I have just focused on my own wrongdoings. Hmm, I am going to add this: I would have reconsidered that message if I were you. My heart is completely shattered, and if you thought for just two minutes before posting you could probably tell your self that no one gets married thinking that it won’t last forever and that there probably is a lot more to it. My intent was not to post everything about my mar…

For many reasons big and small. I have trouble justifying why I was not happy, because as a human being I love him so much. But I do have reasons: Number one being I had adored him as a man and a leader, but around when we got married he had a sort of crisis which he did not tell me about, but it meant that he changed a lot: gained weight, became recluse, chanced his interests. So I felt like I had got a whole other husband than expected. And I did not see him as a leader. Red Pill Women will kn…

Thank you. I did not use it to manipulate him but to make my marriage better when I noticed I had become critical. It did work for a few moths, but the actual truth is that I gradually lost my respect for him and therefore also the desire to follow the book. I felt like my life revolved around him and that I was losing myself, because I just was not happy.

Do you have any advice for my about dating older men? I have always thought that's what I needed, since I need a bit of emotional support and understanding and since I am an old soul. The guy I married was exactly the same age as me and it turned out he had not been ready to get married at all...

I am sorry for using that word. English is not my mother tongue and sometimes my choices of words reflect it. I asked because you mentioned staying in a lot, and I just wonder why it should make you marriage material. If the underlying argument is that women who are marriage material are always home bodies or if it was specific to you and what you had done differently before.

This is what makes me very unsure about the future: I struggle with feeling that he wasn't enough for me at the same time with feeling that he was too good for me. Now I don't know if I have the right to ask for more in a partner than what he gave me.

I really hope I will get a second chance as well. And yes, a punch in the gut is exactly what it is. Or like having a lim torn off. And the you can't talk to the only person in the world who is going through the same... At least I can't. If he had left me, I would ask him to listen to me. But it's the other way around and I have to respect that he wants space.

Yes. I never said I did not fail. I never said I managed to live by it. I tried to explain that I see what I did wrong, for instance being overly critical. Learning from my mistakes is obviously something I should do.

And were you happy being recluse, not going out? Does it reflect your true self? Because it would not be authentic for me. I feel like a big part of me is being social. I do not go clubbing, but I love seeing friends and meeting new people at debates and conferences. I feel like a good match for me would appreciate that side of me? I had had a list in my head of qualities, and it seemed like my husband had every single one, and that is why we got married so fast. It just turned out that he, bein…

Yes of course. The very short version: We argued all the time but never resolved anything, it depressed us both but he coped by running away and I coped by living my own life, and eventually the love died... The long version: We got married after having know each other for a year and a half and after living together for six months. After the feeling of extreme infatuation wore off we saw each other for what we really were: not perfect. He also disappointed me deeply right before we got married, …

Thank you for your sympathy. I initiated. Which is fitting, since I also suggested getting married. Through it all my husband just wanted to make me happy. But in the end I just realized that we were wrong for each other. We both made each other worse in stead of better. I have the greatest love and respect for him though, and I am so angry with myself that I couldn’t just find a way to be content the way I think he was prepared to. But in the end I couldn’t even kiss him. It’s like my body took…

My take as a woman who subscribes to TRP: If a girl is pursuing you, yes, she'll have a high interest. But she will probably also have high testosterone or very strong ideals about being a "strong independent woman" – in any case she won't be your typical girl. Now, 90 % of women won't pursue you even if they have an interest. That is because we want you to pursue us – and so, our interest will first grow from moderate to high once you have charmed us. That is just how the dynamics work.

“The Strange Death of Europe” by Douglas Murray. It explores why European civilization as we have known it will not survive. The first factor is the combination of mass migration of new peoples into the continent together with Europe's negative birth rates. The second is what Murray describes as “the fact that… at the same time Europe lost faith in its beliefs, traditions, and legitimacy”. Feminism might be only one symptom of our sickness.

I think you sound really interesting. Send me a DM if you want to chat about guys or anything else. I am 26 and married, I lost my father when I was 13, so I can relate somewhat. I swallowed the red pill a few years ago but I have always been right wing, even though I live in Denmark which is a very socialist country.

I am always on the lookout for recipes that are both healthy and cheap to make - any suggestions? This week, I made a vegetarian dish that both me and me meat lover husband enjoyed enormously - a chickpea curry, extremely rich in flavour and consistency. I replaced creamed coconut with coconut milk I added lemon – lemon and spinach are a match made in heaven. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/kadala-curry

No, not yet, but yesterday I transferred to his bank and asked for one shared account to start with. We are not sure to what extend we should merge our economies yet. So to answer your first question, taking responsibility is what I have done, but I didn’t have full control either.

You are so right on that last point. I think your suggestion is what it is like right now, which does not work, because I still need him to do certain things each moth, which is why I need to remind him to do it, and that is where the nagging mom-dynamic comes in.

Yes, I find that so difficult. I think my worst fear is letting him take over and being disappointed in him. Maybe saying something I can’t take back.
/r/RedPillWomen09/11/18 10:07 AM

I agree, however I think it is necessary in my case because i get extremely irritated when I remind him to do something regarding our economy and he forgets, and I have to be on him for weeks before he does it. And knowing him, I think his dementia regarding this is solely because he has resigned. And to change this dynamic I think he has to have the sole responsibility. Otherwise I will still nag and bother him, and the bad cycle continues.

Thank you for this! I have yesterday transferred to his bank and asked them to set up a joint account. I will let him take over gradually and ASK before I do anything.

Yes, women love, but my theory is that we love differently. I have loved my partners very much, but I’ve fallen out of love with them, when they disappointed me deeply or I saw red flags that would make a married life with kids hard. All we can do with our few fertile years is to find the best father for our kids. So this love is conditional, and w believe that is the reason why some men find us heartless, because their love does not depend on abilities but seems to be about the woman’s personal…

After reading this, my feeling is that is is wishful thinking that he let you go thinking you were shit testing him. As a red pilled man he knows shit tests are usually to test dominance and that other than that pointless. Your wants were understandable and must have come across sincere. I believe you should have trusted your first instinct, which was that he was not ready to settle down. I would cut off contact. Not out of spite, but because you need to focus on yourself and move past him. Best…

Jeg er imponeret! Yes, that’s the one! Enjoy a glimmer of 1915-ish Danish high society. But it’s just as much life advice at it is about etiquette. It is all just common sense, but she can word it with such precision and humor, that you will never forget it.

Let me start out by saying that you are right asking these questions. I have some concerns reading this. What allows you to stay with him for six moths after graduating? As far as I know it is key to start job hunting right after or preferably before you graduate. Maybe it would be smarter for your future if you focused on your career first? A bachelor's degree in physics will not make it easy for him getting a job. If his interests are broadly scientific, maybe suggest something like computer s…

I have hosted a few dinner parties and have been told that I am an excellent hostess. Here are some tips, some which are mine others that I have from an early 1900's etiquette book that has proven itself timeless. Remember that you do not host dinner parties to enjoy yourself. You host it so that others may invite you another time. That means putting yourself last. That means accepting that you won't be sitting down and relaxing for too long. All the points are won when you put out new drinks be…

My experience is the opposite if yours, and I wonder if there is something to learn from that. I am not trying to brag, but there must be a reason for it. A little about myself: I am a very average looking 26-year-old woman, recently engaged. I'd say I am a 6/10. I am right in the middle between extrovert and introvert. I have never been laser focused on securing a relationship, and I have gone 5 years without because I just didn't meet the right person, so I guess have never seemed clingy or de…

Given how many men leave their wives around the age of 40-45, why is it not reasonable for her to ask for further commitment? After all, if he left, she would be post wall and with children, which is a huge impediment when dating.
/r/RedPillWomen27/03/18 08:52 AM

Your argument is totally one sided. 1) you ignore the fact that she never intends leaving him. 2)You are also ignoring the fact that most women find the welfare of the children - including being raised in a nuclear family - a strong incentive to stay. 3) You also seem to have given the issue little thought when it comes to the woman’s sense of security. A lot of men leave their wives around the time they are 40-45 for someone younger. With all the economic incentives marriage gives the man to st…

I would give it time and see how your own libido is in a few moths, you might be happy with once each night. Three times a night really is a lot for most women once they are in an LTR. It’s not about us faking something in the beginning, the hormones just change after a few months to a year. What worries me when it comes to your chances as a couple, is that you seem more focused on how this looks and you seem hung up on you success as a single. This, I would let go. You have decided to commit, w…

Well, I would not recommend building your life philosophy on some documentary. I would generally agree that the sexual revolution of 1968 has ruined a lot, to an extend I see it as the single most damaging historical event to western society. But yes, there are a few women of more traditional values left, and I guarantee that they are just as frustrated with men today. Besides, I really don’t think it was ever meant to be easy to find the person you want to raise children with, that is evolution…

Great post. As a long time lurker I have often thought that the majority of the men in here have missed the most basic point within TRP. It applies evolutionary theory and market theory to dating, and evolution is about reproduction, not sex in quantity. When squirted into low value women your semen will not produce offspring, at most a couple of abortions. For many of you, there seems to be a great growth from the point of discovering TRP to mastering the strategies. But when sex becomes easily…

It is important to be realistic - what fits you as a person? For me, I’ve given up the normal high energy regiments. I have been working out all sorts of ways in the past; gym, jogging, swimming... I’ve found that the best way for me to stay thin is walking. I don’t enjoy the high energy workouts, but during my walks I can gather my thoughts or listen to interesting podcasts. Afterwards I don’t feel the same enormous hunger as I do after a run. Walking as an exercise is not a very effective calo…

Thank you for reminding me that it is normal to be anxious. Now, itøs actually an internship. I have 5 months left, and I need to complete it. But if it was a normal job, I would quit, simply because of the people there (AND I do feel like, this is not my field). So thatøs the scary part. That I am chained to the bad situation. For fiv emonths. I really hope I can grow stronger and withstand it, but I am really afraid that I'll just be worn down and then (for the first time in my life) need my b…

Thank you so much for this reply. I guess I knew that I needed to work on my anxiety. Maybe I can ask you, what you would do in my situation, then. You see, I study journalism - the field that I seem not to belong in. And this job, that is proving toxic, is actually a full time internship, which I need to complete. Now I am taking steps to go from journalism to litterature and social science (that aims toward high school teaching). But if I can switch, I still have five months ahead of me in thi…

Haha, I was never into that show. But I can relate to how one's preferences can be molded by these things. Often to great inconvenience. I fell in love with a very chivalrous 18th century lieutenant from a historical drama at a young age, and for years to come my outlook on guys was one of deep resignation, as I knew this ideal was very far from anything you could expect from young guys.

I like your last point. I'll make sure the kids are stimulated in every way, he can be a role model for them to look up to for willpower and stamina. I don't know if I am able to control myself in the long run, I afraid of my dark side (shit test making) side popping up when the first surge of infatuation wears up. But I will go for it - for him. I think. :)

Thank you for replying! And I think you are right that it can be too much when both are very intellectual. I can see that he could compliment me in areas where I am weak. And he does seem to enjoy it, especially he laughs a lot of my jokes and seem to be attracted by that. This I've rarely experienced, but I think it serves to his credit.
