You could have kept going to bars with her but always orchestrating it so that you meet one or two prospecting plates at the same bar (i.e. call them up and invite them). Or even better have a drink with her but use the bar as a "training ground" to see if you can game any girls in the bar. Honestly after she acted bitchy to you giving you, in your own words, the "bitch sheild", then you shouldn't even have returned her texts when she replied two weeks later.
