Women can also be misogynistic so it’s not gonna “solve it self”. Misogyny is way more rooted in society and everything around us than you think. I would argue the casual sexism the average person displays is a way bigger problem than radicals because of how nonchalant it is. You can’t spot treat this kind of sexism, it needs to be addressed as a whole .

It’s not an irrational hate of a whole gender. It’s more intertwined, more casual if you will. Most of the people who practice in misogyny/misandry don’t realize because that’s the “norm” they grew up in. You know the usual, boys don’t cry, girls can’t fix a car . Oh come on be a man! You need to act lady like! Anyways, I spared a few minutes from my day to see if I could have a conversation without someone twisting my words and frothing in the mouth. It is a gender issue , because the problem stems from gendered assumptions and discrimination. It is very common to have both misogyny and misandry exits together in a problem. That doesn’t make the problem “not gendered”. Gendered problems are usually hand in hand, because if you imply women are always this one thing, that means their counterpart/opposite is always for men. That is in big part what the patriarchy is.

I never said there isn’t any medical misandry ? I just pointed out that there are still gendered based (in this case misogyny) discrimination. I would also be grateful if you could provide your source that shows man are more likely to have undiagnosed cancer than women because of medical misandry ?

A very common example of medical misogyny is when women are not listened to or taken seriously when giving birth. One other is PCOS going undiagnosed in %70 of the cases , because doctors ignore pain and say “it’s just your period” or “you are acting up, there is nothing wrong”

Have you heard of medical misogyny? It’s actually a very common occurrence that happens all around the world. Women’s health gets over looked or dismissed because “they are being dramatic” or “it’s just period pain”
