I understand man, its okay. I've had my bouts due to miscommunication too. The hardest thing about being a member of TRP is the signal to noise ratio. I love this sub because we generally do a good job of keeping the quality posts on top. However, its a bit of a men's club too. Some guys are just blowing off steam after feeling rejected, but some guys are crawling here on their hands and knees in real pain. Men lose their wives, they lose jobs, and their life as they know it changes. You have to…

I don't see what all the passive aggressiveness is about. The Introduction to TRP ends with: Finally, I think our focus should always remain on ensuring that we challenge the reality we perceive and discuss precisely and objectively whether or not our beliefs line up with the testable results we can replicate. I am a firm believer that potential success can only be maximized by maximizing your knowledge of the factors surrounding your success. Keeping your eyes closed and ignoring evidence and f…

Not to be harsh, but if you are new to ANY subreddit, the best advice is sidebar sidebar sidebar. It says Introduction real big right there. Asking a user gets you a single user's opinion. Though trpexplorer was polite enough to help, his response was over simplified and centered around women. TRP is worth a 5 minute read. When all else fails, lurk more and make up your own mind.

Just to clarify, nothing magical is going on, and the original study that you wanted to see is linked right there in that paragraph. For anyone interested, this is the specific idea in question: the amount of sperm a man discharges during intercourse with his wife is not dependent on the timing of the man’s last ejaculation but on the time since his last sex with his wife. If a long time has passed (increasing the chances of someone else's seed found its way into his wife's vagina), the husband’…

Relevance to TRP comes from the idea that an honest appraisal of facts is the only route to self improvement. TRP (as opposed simply to Game or Pick Up Artistry) focuses on genuine improvement of your SMV by getting in shape and relearning how to approach the world via what's really important (subjectively, Game etc. seems to focus on a bag of "tricks" that fool girls into sleeping with you) Putting aside the topic of dance entirely, the post seems to be made with the idea that its refreshing fo…

I don't think anyone would argue that, but this is a subreddit. Its whole point is to discuss specific ideas and philosophies. If anyone wanted general advice they would go to r/askreddit or one of the relationship subs. Its something I enjoy and admire about discussions on TRP and RPW, people stay wonderfully focused. Some people see it as oversimplification, but I enjoy it like r/askscience, if it's not adding constructively to the discussion, then no need to post.

I'm so late on this reply! Anyway the long and short of it is that it doesn't matter if the guy doesn't want to hear the real reasons. Lots of the time, anyone's first experience with TRP comes on the heals of a break up or in this case, it helps you realize you need to break up. Even if you don't buy into the whole "he deserves the truth" part, the break up conversation is your first chance to express the sort of honesty that is the root of TRP. Don't lie to him about why you broke up, because …

I am horrible with sarcasm so I just have to check: Are those genuine questions? If so, I have genuine answers. If not, then... I was totally in on it the whole time...

There's an interesting article on woman up on TRP right now that actually pertains to this here. The author is writing about separated women, but the psychology applies for divorced as well: "Some women will resume sporadic sexual relations with their husbands in an effort to safeguard their marriage until they make a decision. Although they are often not sexually attracted to their husbands, desire is temporarily rekindled when they suspect their husbands are unfaithful, are contemplating infid…

seems stable as far as I can tell. That doesn't sound like the amount of confidence you need to make a decision like "do I risk my relationship with my son over this?" No matter how beta you were before, she left you for a jobless idiot, so I wouldn't say she makes the best decisions. Plus, when your son's 16 and understands what's going on, "I was being alpha" isn't much of an excuse when he asks why you lead Mom on for years after the divorce. Get your dick wet somewhere else, don't worry abou…
