A friend of mine literally got pushed away when he tried to dance with a woman at a concert at once. It was pretty alarming, and then pretty hilarious.

I'm dating myself here, but watch the episode in the first season of Cheers where Sam goes to kiss Diane for the first time. Sam is the original PUA and alpha af and she is a stereotypical feminist. He actually asks her if he can kiss her and she gets pissed off that he ruined the moment.

Then maybe when you do that stuff you feel awkward because it's not natural. It's the difference between being book smart and street-smart. It sounds like you read some instructions and are trying to force yourself to act a certain way as though you are building an IKEA shelf. You just need to be in the moment and you will know when physical contact is appropriate.

Be yourself and be in the moment. Things will progress normally.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
