Buying a girl drinks are a no-go. Every time I've done it they run off or give a fake number afterward, especially if she asks you to buy her one (happened). There are plenty of girls who go to the club just to use guys for free drinks, so I'd stay away from that. Anyway, dance floor is pretty easy. You can try asking her to dance, or if it's too loud you can just put out your hand and suggest it with your body language (a smirk, a come on motion with your eyes, etc) then start dancing. Don't ju…

We actually learned in relationship psych that masculinity/femininety is one of the only dynamics where opposites attract. My only potential correction is that I wouldn't call masculinity more attractive to everyone. It is complementary in the sense that more feminine women are more attracted to masculine men. However being a more feminine man can still be attractive, just to more masculine women. I'm a somewhat feminine man (hell, coworkers usually think I'm gay) but I do pretty well with the s…

Yeah, they do. If there isn't an explicit agreement to be exclusive, you aren't exclusive.

I don't know what to say, I'm the exact opposite. I kinda hate sex but love the game. Sex bores me, I sometimes think I might be asexual. Or maybe I fap too much (probably). The game can be frustrating for sure. Last week I had some girl physically shove me when I was trying to talk to her friend. You meet all kinds of rude douchebags. But still, you've got to find the fun in the process and enjoy it or you're gonna have a bad time. Whenever you do get rejected reframe it as a funny story you're…

I'm in my mid-late 20s and this is absolutely becoming the truth. I spent my early 20s out of shape, chasing money thinking it would eventually help me get girls. I was chubby but in a good law school, had a good job, etc and couldn't get shit. I've since lost the weight and done various shitty jobs but have gotten laid way more in the past few months than in my entire life. If you want to get laid then get hot and talk to lots of girls, it really is that simple.

If it's a random guy who doesn't even know the girls then that's freaking awesome. I have no idea why you'd get discouraged. I'm usually pretty enthusiastic that he's there so I don't have to talk to this group of girls on my own, I now have a wing, I'll say hi and introduce myself and maybe joke around a bit. After the set I'll typically even try to catch up with him and go into more sets with him.

The top post from yesterday was literally "You should go out solo". This gets brought up every other day in this sub. Yes, it's fine to go out solo and yes you can pull. Three outings isn't shit, go out more. It will always feel a little awkward, but you can get good at it, but if you just go out once a month you will NEVER progress. Imagine how stupid it would look if I went to /r/fitness and posted "I went to the gym three times. Once in December, twice in January. Why don't I look like Zac Ef…

There's videos on youtube of a guy walking up to 100 girls and straight asking for sex. In the first video it was 100 no's (though many were just stupid - girls with a guy, or some girls even with their mom). In one in Europe he did get a yes and they walked off together. I mean, I'm the type of guy that would have sex with a girl I just met, so I don't feel I should expect more from a woman.

I'm the same, happens a lot. I'll think a girl is blowing me off or not interested and she'll even pull me back in after I try to bounce. For example, last night - Went out, it was still early. I was talking to a 2-set, tried getting the pretty target to dance with me and she said no, and I roamed away for a bit. Ran into them later on the dance floor when the night was in full swing and she got excited when she saw me, left the guy who was hitting on her and dragged me over to dance with her. W…

Both are going to be hard, and you probably won't get a lay super soon if you are a hardcase. First lay will be night game most likely. However, if you just want to get your feet wet day game is a bit easier - lower pressure, no cockblocks, fewer girls who will totally blow you off, so it's easier to at least start getting some practice with interactions.

What's the alternative? Accept being awkward, give up on socializing and meeting women and live a life of isolation as your loneliness causes you to turn more and more into an actual creep? I've had my own doubts, but hell you're here, you are who you are, suck it up and deal with it. Go work on being social for you because the alternative is not fun and will likely make you miserable. If anyone judges you just fuck them, you're doing the best you can.

I had to keep double checking the username to make sure I didn't write this post while drunk and forgot about it. Been doing it for years and had the same issue, I can approach a 10 all alone with no hesitation, but give me a 6 next to a grandpa and I'll end up creepily waiting around for her to be alone, or do nothing. I'd suggest you do more night game. At least there it's more normal and acceptable, so bystanders aren't really an issue (no one ever bats an eye if you approach a girl at a bar/…

I'm white and tend to do much better with spanish/foreign(european) girls. While 10-12 isn't nearly a large enough number to go off of in your case, I have noticed a trend with my experiences as well. It can still happen with white girls obviously, so approach everyone you like. But I think 'cold approach' is much more accepted in other cultures. Honestly I feel most white girls associate cold approach with low status.

Bystander anxiety. Been doing this for years and have virtually no AA of there's a hot girl all alone. But if there's one person watching or close enough to hear everything I turn to anxious goo every time.

Curious to hear more about how you got started, got your first clients, and when you know you were ready... I've had a similar path (lost 80 lbs, was depressed, do decent now with women, approaching etc). I love trying to help friends, though they're usually too stubborn for anything to happen. I feel like this is my calling, it's the main thing that gets me excited that I could do for hours on end without feeling tired or hating it, and I've always dreamed of running a biz. I like going out of my way to do it and don't find it 'smarmy'. You'd go out of your way to go to the gym to work on your physical fitness. Most people go out of their way to hit up online dating sites to browse people and send messages. People go out of their way at night to go meet people. It's a weird line to draw to say planned day game is somehow foul. Anyway, it is a lot easier to waste your time with daygame since virtually no environment in day game has the same single hottie density as …

To elaborate a little further.... Imagine I wanted to be a great basketball player. I love basketball and it's something I want to practice. The problem is, I'm 5'9 and most basketball legends have been very tall. So I don't think I'll have a great chance. Id like to study a game plan, learn some tactics for positioning myself to get the ball in the hoop, but I don't actually want to play when everyone will be taller than me and I'll probably just lose. Instead I will hang out at the basketball …

Dude. You're approaching this in entirely the wrong way. Assume attraction. Do what you can to be as attractive as a person as possible, but other than that just go talk to girls and shut the fuck up. No one cares about your height. You're short? Cool, I know plenty of shorter guys who pull. Stop looking for excuses and just go fucking talk to girls. They don't have to initially show attraction. Dude just start talking to girls. You're looking way too into this in advance. Briefly read some theory so you have an idea of what to do, but it won't mean anything unless you go talk to girls. Go talk to 20, then come back and watch some youtube vids or read guides to see where you went wrong. Then go talk to another 20. Repeat that cycle. It's pointless asking for advice here on advancing a theoretical conversation that hasn't happened yet to get a theoretical number. Just go talk to girls.

I was there. I was fairly social in HS thanks to sports, had a decent time, late night trips with big crews almost every night at a point. I was a clown. Then I moved to college alone and failed miserably at friending. Started gaining lots of weight, things got worse. No sex or girls for years. Cue chronic masturbation and video games since that's the only thing you can get some sort of pleasure from when life is that shitty. I wouldn't overdo it on the compliments. "You're cute" should suffice, I'd definitely avoid beautiful, gorgeous, etc. Just at the bar tonight the bartender called the girl next to me beautiful and gorgeous in a 45 second time span. So they surely get tired of it. Make it more about showing interest in them personally, some getting to know each other, a little push/pull, gentle teasing, etc.
/r/seduction14/02/16 05:43 AM

Usually just something along the lines of "Hey! I'm in a bit of a hurry but I thought you were really cute and I had to say hi. What's your name?" (gives name) "Nice to meet you (name), I'm thisguy." [depending on how much time there is I might ask some basic get to know you questions to show I have a basic interest in her as a person] "Well I'd love to get to know you more when we have a bit more time. Down to grab coffee/drinks/whatever later this week?" [Yes -> Get number ; No/Not Interested/…

Yeah I mean different approaches can work for different people. It's a silly argument really. It all still comes down to going through the journey and becoming more confident and socially competent no matter which approach you take. OP - just practice a lot dude. Honestly DHV is such a weird way to think about talking to girls. It's like something Dennis Reynolds would say. Most girls love telling their own stories so just be a good listener, keep them going, tease them throughout and show excitability when she says something you relate to. I'm a fan of dicking around, short anecdotes, flirting, having a normal conversation. Those are things I enjoy and girls seem to like it to. Crafting 'DHV stories with attraction spikes' just sounds super try hard and…

I'd advise against stories unless you're a very good story teller, which probably isn't the case if he has mind going blank issues. Most guys I've gamed with who go the story did just wind up boring everyone to death myself included. Even if it's an awesome story, stories are generally boring.

What weird responses. Sure, hit up the bookstore or museum and 98% of the time I guarantee you won't even find an attractive girl in the place. It'd take hours of you just chilling there for your own leisure to come across maybe one set. The best places to pickup girls are places with lots of attractive girls. College campus, shopping malls/plazas/centers/etc, large retail stores, nightlife venues (bars, clubs, streets with lots of restaurants/lounges, etc). Also, don't bother with cliche 'type …

Eh, from the attachment perspective it's more of a lifelong trait that can't be changed, like more of a personality trait. You're born with it or develop it early in childhood. You can accept it and work on strategies to make it more adaptive, but if you deny it you're gonna have a bad time

Anxious attachment style. I'm similar, though usually it's women who associate with an anxious attachment. It's a psych concept that means you basically crave intimacy and are only fulfilled while in a very close relationship. You can't really change it. Embrace it. Work on having fun and meeting lots of women. It's very important to talk to lots of girls so you don't jump into things too quickly with one who wouldn't be a great match (anxious types tend to do this). Casual sex will prob never f…

You're in college with roommates and don't have a job, that sounds like >50% of all college students. First off stop being so hard on yourself. I would try seeking help for the depression though, which tends to make you be very hard on yourself. I've had many of my own struggles with it, so I know what a bitch it can be. Things can get better, it'll just take a lot of work.

You can get away with 2 drinks/day as a man which has been shown to be good for cardiovascular health, and not enough to cause long term damage (It would take about 5 beers a day for over a decade to cause serious liver issues). I would have a drink or two and not worry about it, after that (or before if you choose not to drink) get a bunch of ones and tip $1 on waters. The bartenders will still like you, you're spending less money, you can still fit in, etc.

Pretty much the exact same thing as you. It's just about perfect. It's enough to show your intent, get a reaction, get a sense if she's open to an interaction or if she's going to freak the fuck out about talking to a stranger.

I also have social anxiety and I've been doing this a while. That's a very normal feeling and it can be unsettling, but if you put the work back in I promise you can get back to a good fun state. You have to accept that you won't be great and smooth and in state 100% of the time. But you will eventually come to accept the process. You'll go through these lulls. The point is it doesn't really matter what you say, it's all about the vibe. You can go full interview with a masculine confident vibe and the girl will still be turned on. You can flirt while obviously insecure and it will fail.

You WILL also encounter many who give you complete validation for doing this (I've encountered countless who say things like "Holy shit you made my day/life/week/etc" "Please keep doing this, I wish more guys did this" "I love your confidence/ballsiness"). That's the thing about girls, they're all different. Some will think it's weird, some will be annoyed, some will love you for it, some will want to hook up. It sounds like you're kind of approaching game wrong. The goal should be to be yourself and look for girls you actually have some chemistry with and can enjoy being around. When I find myself talking to someone very different who I don't have anything in common with (especially if they end up Republican/homophobic/etc) my usual response is to humor them a bit then peace out regardless of my odds of getting laid. It is definitely challenging to pull a same night lay solo. Honestly your best bet is to get a ton of numbers and do day twos. The times I've pulled the friends were pretty much winging the girl and fully supported her getting laid. One thing could be to approach less easy scenarios too. For example, approaching a single girl all alone with no one watching is the easiest scenario, and for most guys starting out even that is scary. Keep progressing and stepping out of your comfort zone and you'll eventually not think twice about the easy scenarios. Starting to do okay with the easy approaches? I mean dating is the same way really, but there's a much lower threshold for what's considered 'effort'. If you theoretically put the same amount into that then I guarantee you'd see similar results - the thing is putting that much effort into a non-financially productive aspect of life makes everything else much harder/impossible. You seem to enjoy it though so by all means plow ahead.

My take on this is a little unconventional... According to Adult Attachment Theory, that neediness is a reflection of a, most likely, anxious (or otherwise insecure) attachment style. The thing is, this does not go away. It can get better as you mature, and 'abundance' is a strategy to lessen the unattractive traits associated with insecurity - but you'll still have a constant 'neediness' for a high degree of emotional and physical intimacy. The good news is that this isn't automatic doom for al…

If you're truly a good, friendly guy then that's great and you should keep doing that. The 'assholes' might be able to score some easy lays from insecure girls, but if you can keep your 'good guy' qualities but improve your confidence to the point where you can say what you want and go after your desires then you'll ultimately be able to get with way higher quality women. Welcome to adulthood. At least for me friends/hangouts started out easiest in elementary school and at each stage of school/life gets a bit harder until it takes a drastic drop in post-college adulthood. Take the same approach with people to hang out with as you would with women. Talk to lots of people, focus on being yourself and having fun and see who you have some decent vibe with. I think this narrative is pretty common and normal 'pua' evolution. RSD Tyler has a similar narrative in a lot of his recent videos that good healthy relationships are amazing (but the process of getting good with women, self development, meeting tons of women, etc are pretty much necessary to meet an awesome high quality woman and actually be developed enough to attract and keep her). So yeah, I think a good relationship is an amazing end game. Comparing pickup to college is a very spot on anal…

Definitely doable, but I'd highly recommend living in a large city with a decent young professional population. Night game becomes the new college campus. Lots of attractive 20 something women congregated in one place in an environment conducive to meeting new people. Aside from that you just have to keep your eyes open wherever. Malls are okay, coffee shops, downtown during lunch hour, etc.

Fair. Codependent has just become such a dirty word, but it's just a spectrum - a fair amount of basic dependence is healthy. Like anything, in excess it can become problematic. Even what's considered excess varies from person to person.

What you described is a more general problem, actually called 'dependent personality disorder'. If you excessively rely on other people in general, are indecisive, have excessive struggle with your own identity then yes, that is an issue. In a healthy, long term relationship, however - it's still normal for their to be 'dependence' on the other person. Simply untrue. Every long term relationship has a degree of codependence. Sure, you don't want to be attached from the hip at the start, but it is impossible that you remain completely independent individuals over the course of a relationship. Different people have different needs. The 'avoidant' types are inherently uncomfortable with intimacy and almost any degree of codependence. They usually say the advice that single is better, be happy alone, etc. In the end this is still an insecure attit…

From everything I've read, the best way to work on it is to push through and try sticking with one person, don't date as many people at once, etc. The opposite is true if you're on the anxious side (like me). You'll be quick to put someone on a pedestal who objectively isn't even that great, so if you're the more clingy type you should try to date many people before picking one.

You sound like you have an avoidant attachment style - which means you'll find many women you date to be too controlling, needy, dependent etc. In reality they just have needs for more co-dependence, which isn't really a bad thing. I'd work on that dude. It's not something that goes away on it's own, and you prob didn't just run into a 'needy' chick. It can seriously fuck with your ability to hold down a loving long term relationship. Every little thing your partner does you'll blow up in your m…

BMI definitions of normal weight are just bullshit and were never meant to be used as a serious assessment of health, which is what I'm sure they were using. Most bodybuilders, contact sports players, etc likely fall into the overweight category, which is why they're probably the ones getting laid the most.

Ask her out and be clear with your intentions from the get go. I'd say the only exception is if it's someone you see regularly through school, work, commute, whatever. We do like people more that we're more familiar with, so if you know you'll see her frequently then you can let that build and ask her out a little later after flirting a bit. But if it's a stranger you'll probably never see again, just go for it.

It's a red flag that you aren't able/willing to do day game. Chatting up some girl sitting alone on a bench or out buying radishes is about as non threatening as it gets. My suggestion is to start there and work on your confidence and getting over approach anxiety. Keep going out at night too on a semi regular basis and you should see results. If you're truly average (and aren't using it as a euphemism for looking like a complete troll) then looks aren't going to kill you.

Been hitting college game hard the past month and yeah, definitely true. Most girls I actually talk about it with say they've never been on a date or have been on VERY few. "Dates" just isn't really part of the current generation's culture ... it's chill with friends -> Chill -> "Netflix and Chill", etc. Which relies heavily on social circle game, so it doesn't really fit in too well with cold approach pick up. Don't know what to tell you, kids these days are fucking weird. I like dates. You can…

Let me know if you find a solution because I'm having the same problem. You aren't in GNV by any chance are you? Downtown here is deserted and the college bars are flooded with frat guys/sorority girls. You can still try, I've met a handful that are receptive. But they do seem mostly interested in frat guys. I've had the most luck on weekend nights since there's a decent helping of non-greek life girls out mixed in. Weekdays are pretty much nothing but greek though.

I don't know what campus you're talking about, but you could easily bounce from hot girl to hot girl in east village, union square, etc.

I just go by common sense. If she's stumbling all over the place, sloppy, clearly drunk off her ass then I leave it alone completely. If she's buzzed but still overall fairly coherent and seems to know what she's doing then go for it.

NYC/Miami were pretty close. Just stick to a major city with a large young population and you'll still run into plenty of hot girls.

tbh it seems like I get more flakes when I've been actively working on more confidence, building attraction, getting more physical, etc. I'm guessing they might just be getting 'player' signals or something, and when they aren't in the moment anymore they decide it's not worth it. Maybe go for more nervous guy game? My game was weaker overall when I was the nervous guy, but I had fewer flakes it seemed. Guess it depends on what your goal is. If you're looking to get same-night pulls then just ke…

Same here and I've been doing this a while. Women are just flaky, increase volume and keep trying to improve yourself and your approach. I get the frustration, I truly do. I've had women seem ecstatic when I approach them, get kino-y on me and even ask for a hug before I leave - flake. Just this weekend - met a girl friday, we're from the same small town. Texted her right after and explicitly asked for a date - she said hell yeah, we gotta stick together etc. Texted again the other day to set up…

I just stumbled upon this which would be too much. Made me kinda paranoid because this is, I think, every guy's worst nightmare.

He even said in one of his videos he still gets rejected a lot, he doesn't have some superpower. The reason he gets laid a lot and has had all these crazy sexual experiences is because he goes out a fucking lot.

You should already be having sex before it's cool to ask for nudes, at which point it seems pointless anyway unless you're going off to war or something.

It varies so much from girl to girl, but the standard ideal I think for most girls who want to be semi-conservative is: A kiss at the end of the first date if it went well, second date escalate kino a bit, third date sex. More liberal women are fine with sex on dates 1-2, the average seems to be 3-5, and if they want it after 6+ dates then they're probably too culturally conservative for my liking and I'm not interested (sex aside).

You should try working on being more authentic and a good communicator all around. That's what a lot of good pick up is all about ("Hey, I think you're attractive and I want to get to know you", not denying your sexuality, etc), and it's also what contributes to successful relationships (ie instead of retaliating, playing games, etc ... just let them know if they do something you don't like, or give an honest idea of what you expect in a relationship).
