So why are women having more sex than men?

What I have a problem with is the gaslighting and the endless, idiotic claims by women that it isn't true. Absolutely this. I have no problem with it, but the gaslighting and complete lack of understanding is so fucking annoying. Also pretty much every statisitics point out towards the fact women have it easier in dating, while there is literally none that points in the opposite direction and they still try to argue.

My point is that there are plenty of activities outside of sports where men go out, often in greater numbers than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 08:22 AM

No, they don't. Not sure if you even read my answer.

Lol what? All the hiking, sightseeing, film clubs, art expos events I've been to have been overwhelmingly male. Leaving alone gym and sports, which are even more male. The only places where I've been to women outnumber men (and not by much) are dance clubs, cooking lessons and food related things.

if the men and women were good looking, This misses the point entirely though. Everyone knows that. The point is that being a good looking man is much harder than being an attractive woman. Just an example, to be "good-looking" you need to be in the top 30-40% for male height and that's just height alone. When you add up all the other conventionally attractive traits for men, you realise the difference for genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 08:33 AM

Omg this is so fucking true. AskWomen is a perfect example of this, they say that they don't allow generalisations but every fucking thread concern male behaviour is just baseless generalisations of men and if you point it out they'll remove your comment or ban you.

Yes and if you reread what I wrote I said that's fine. However, the issue with prostitution is that men are looked down upon because our society thinks that value of a man is related to his sexual ability (e.g. Mocking people for being virgins).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 08:12 PM
1

That's just conjecture though. Having sex will never be as risky life threatening abuse of drug substances. They are completely different.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 07:26 PM

I absolutely agree that it's not a good thing. However, I also believe that having lots of casual sex is not a good thing. But I'm not going to shame people who have casual sex.

Do you really believe that addiction to cocaine is comparable to having protected sex with a prostitute (legalisation would/could also involve mandatory testing)? There are degrees of risk you know.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 05:53 PM

Because women (and men) think that a men has value if he is romantically successful. Out society judges men by how much success they have in the romantic sexual sphere. That's why people think a virgin is a loser while they praise men who aren't because in their mind your ability to fuck a woman somehow gives you value. Before someone says that only men do this to other men, I can surely say that I've seen women doing this far more often than men although less aggressively than men do.

Not really a good analogy in my opinion. Drugs pose huge health risks, prostitution barely pose anything. Also drug use alters mental behaviour because it acts on your brain chemistry, prostitution doesn't. Anyway, the main point is that drug users are shamed because it is risky and a cheap for escapism and destroying your health. Prostitution is shamed because our society assign a value to a men's sexual ability. If you don't want to date men who date prostitutes, that's fine. Shaming them is a…

Do you understand that those heels have a huge impact on your health and posture??? Ask your doctor or any podiatrist. Not just that, wearing heels for guys is openly mocked by our society. What happens when the woman sees the guys taking his shoes off?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 04:22 PM
12

So a 5'3'' guy is not putting enough effort because otherwise he would grow a few inches? Women's dating criteria are brutal and often very uncompromising. I'm not saying that there are no women that wouldn't date that guy, but the numbers are so irrisory that he would have an almost impossible time to compete with other guys. And this is just accounting for physical attraction.

It's true, to be truly attractive to the majority of women you need to be at least above average height.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 08:53 AM

it. Do you tell your husband that you're not as attracted to him as your ex? Do you tell him that your ex is hotter? Yeah lol. Imagine your wife thinking that of you, must be crushing.

I saw a lot of my female friends have such high standards for sex that you'd think they would only let a male model sleep with them. Yet most women of this sub have a completely twisted view of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 08:45 AM
1

Yeah and you're just stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 03:21 PM
3

Honestly, it makes no difference. A "Hi" or what you wrote pretty much give the same results. Pictures are really the main thing and if you write stuff like your height in your bio (we'll if you're tall) that increases the number of matches and responses far more than anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 01:35 PM

Did you even read what I said???
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 01:05 PM

That's considering all possible age ranges. The number of fat people is much lower in their 20's) (most active period for dating). Also stats about fatness are made using BMI index which doesn't account for the natural difference between men's bodies and women's (higher bone density, muscles, etc...). A body builder could be considered fat by those stats and yet no one would claim they are. Regardless of this, women and men can change being fat, you just need to work hard. For men however height…

Others are dying to be noticed Nonsense. Just use Tinder.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 08:57 AM

Bottom 20% of women can easily make to the top 80%. Just don't be fat and learn to use make up.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 08:55 AM

Because if they tried harder, they wouldn't be able message as many people. The strategy is shoot as many shots as possible and trust me I've already tried with the thoughtful, interesting openers, it doesn't work nearly as well as one would hope.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 08:53 AM
10

Lol, perfect analogy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 12:54 PM

Men, particularly young men, can often have nice beach bodies eating recklessly as long as they have some half assed gym routine. Nonsense, maintaining a toned body (standard for men) is far harder than just being slim (which is the standard for women)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 12:51 PM

Yeah, agree. The amount of times I've seen things like "if you have a shirtless pic swipe left" and then they proceed to post a photo in bikini is hilarious. Also things, like "being tall is not having a personality", but anyone who has tried dating apps know that if you put a height above 6 feet in your bio your matches exponentially increase.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 12:50 PM

No I simply mean that if you have sex with a person with the expectation of exclusivity in mind then it's not casual. In those two scenarios, it's hard to tell. The mindset of the two people would determine this. Again however this is not important at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/21 07:34 AM

But the people on Reddit fit into a category far more easily than the people I know in real life. My social circles have been very diverse and I lived in different countries, cultures and places. I would say my hobbies are also diverse enough that I meet different people all time (football, dancing (salsa and bachata) , hiking running/fitness andchess). Of course you could be right but I still think my real experience is more representative than reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 08:18 PM
2

I mean so any sex before commitment is casual sex? Sure if you want to put it that way. I pretty much agree with the commenter I replied to. If sex is happening without an expectation of exclusivity then it's casual to me. But again this is not an important point at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 06:12 PM
6

I have no data and I'm not asking for you trust me. The post is indeed a question not a CMV, however if you are asking me what is more reflective of the average, an Internet forum that most people I know never heard or the people I know in real life. Then I'm going with the second no doubts. Also it's the women in this sub that often make claims about the majority of women, they say things like "most women aren't into..." and to me it doesn't match with what I've seen.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 06:07 PM
12

My argument would be that women on Reddit is far less likely to be representative of the average woman than the women I know in real life. Reddit attracts a niche that is heavily biased towards certain views.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 06:01 PM

So you truly believe that men shaming women for having casual sex and men's violence against women have nothing to do with men not being able to find women to have sex with? I think most episodes of sexual violence are not related to casual sex. Indeed most of it happens in serious monogamous relationships or with people the victim knew very well. Even then, while it's a horrible thing that happens the statistical likelyhood is not high, as a man is probably more likely to be a victim of assault…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 05:58 PM
1

Well, I have to disagree. To me casual sex is any sex that doesn't happen in a serious relationship. But ok it's not really an important point, you can call it whatever you feel like.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 05:54 PM
24

I think a lot more guys would also have sex if they weren't criticizing women for doing it too. I VERY much doubt that this is the primary reason for men's inability to have sex (assuming what you said is true which I disagree with).
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 05:38 PM
0

But then I would personally count as "casual sex" in the sense that it is very unlikely that you dated many of them for more than 6 months.

I know almost nothing about Bangladesh, so take this with a grain if salt, but I know it’s a Muslim country and I’m going to assume a conservative culture. She was "Hindu" actually, but she wasn't religious at all. She was quite educated (was a PhD student) and not religious at all. Although she told me that her father wanted her to find someone to get married with. Since you’re in uni, it sounds like these women are young and are kind of exploring I'm no longer in uni. There could be merit to what you're saying but as a guy I cannot really relate to what the women are saying. It's not like I "chose" my girl friends, most of them are people I got allocated to be in the same form in my first year at uni, people who were in the same class as me and people who I lived with (which also happened "randomly"), etc...

I was really surprised how easy it was for her to find partners. I heard a lot about it before but that was the first time when I saw it with my own eyes Yeah, same. It was the first time I realised how truly easy a girl has it online. I remember once she was like: "why don't you have any friends visiting you?" (I recently had moved to a new different city and didn't know anyone there) as if the most natural thing in the world to bring home strangers known on dating apps (at least that's what I …

My friends circle are all 45+ though. I mean that's a completely different dynamics. I would expect most women at that point to be married and not having much casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 04:50 PM
34

This is what surprised me about my ex housemate. She came from a new country barely speaking English and she was already on dating apps and having sex with guys multiple times a week, many times I've seen her bringing two different guys in the same day. However, she didn't fuck the same guy just once most of the guys I've seen came back in our house multiple times.

They're usually liberals. Yeah this is something I've noticed as well. The more Liberal they are the more casual sex they seem to have.

Those other stats are also quite bad. You should be looking at an range 18-35, the most active period in which people date.

The average American male is not 5 7
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 02:17 PM

I’m surrounded by white girls and I’m a black guy, and 2, I’m 5’7 I think you're height probably is a much bigger issue than race. Your race might be a small disadvantage but the height thing is very important for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/21 11:43 PM

There are studies that show that 65% of women won't date a guy 5'7'' or under. Since you're being so lazy in googling here is one study on height https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/Conditional-mate-preferences%3A-Factors-influencing-Salska-Frederick/d79058c0ad52218f4958388b0185c84e96a0b28d You can find many others on Google.

Lol, what kind of nonsense argument is this? That's like saying that people shouldn't go outside because there is a small risk that if you do you might get assaulted. That we shouldn't have laws to protect people from assault on streets because they could just stay at home (and no this is not a comparison of the gravity of the two situations because I know people like you love to point out). It is a great luxury and privilege Nonsense again. 99% of people have sex and it is not a luxury. That's …

Lol I literally adressed the exact point you mentioned, that if the father sign the legal agreement he cannot opt out. But sure keep living in your echo chamber.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/21 09:46 PM
2

Let's hope you have enough sense not to fuck someone who would do something like that to you, but I suppose there's always a risk But this is just ridiculous. You can NEVER know what goes in the mind, even if you trust them and know them very well (which arguably isn't the case for a huge percentage of (casual and not) sexual encounters). We are discussing the case where this is happening, even if it is rarity (it really is irrelevant to whether it is a common thing or not because how common som…

If 2 percent risk is too high for you, don't have sex or pull out as well to reduce your risk even more. By similar logic if women don't want be abandoned by their partner in case of pregnancy they should also not have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/21 09:20 PM
4

Again you are not addressing the argument. The rarity of an issue has nothing to do with its ethical stance. Also pointing out other "wrongdoings" is not going to make others right, that's very whataboutist. But let me address your point anyway. If a guy agrees to support a baby and abandons his partner, that is absolutely WRONG. However, if the guy doesn't want the baby and abortion is reasonably viable then the mother should abort if she doesn't want the baby or accept that the father won't ha…

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/21 08:27 PM

How is that an argument though??? Do we need to apply different rules to famous people? The point of the example is not to convey that every guy is deceived like that, the point is that men can be trapped in situations for no fault on their own. The rarity of the situation is irrelevant to the ethical issue. We have plenty of laws which apply to situations that are applied in very rare circumstances only. Supposed murder tomorrow became extremely rare, it doesn't mean that we shouldn't have laws…

Well perhaps you didn't understand what I wrote? I know exactly what I'm arguing about. My claim is that unless we have evidence to show otherwise there is no reason to assume that men are more antisocial in university environments. If you want to convince me otherwise then I'm not going to take your personal experience at face value because as I wrote my experience differs from yours. The burden of proof is on you, because the default position one should have that men and women are equally soci…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 11:53 PM

Why would any woman be attracted to a man who calls women pigs? I'm pretty sure women are attracted to guy because they think they are hot not because of what they say.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 04:22 PM
2

Well the neutral claim is that men and women are equally social. Anything contrary to that needs evidence. The burden of proof is on you since you are deviating from the default position. Similarly to when religious people that there is a god, the burden of proof is on the religious not on the atheist which is the indifferent epistemic position.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 04:10 PM

What kind of gyms are we talking about? Where I live, there are 5 gyms nearby I've been to all of them and women are outnumbered in all of them. What's the difference between gyms for women and gyms for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 02:03 PM
3

But then the numbers should be equal. Since no one will be left out. Also I'm really not convinced by this argument of age, because it would imply that in the age range 24-27 men and women should have the same amount of sex, which it doesn't seem to be the case imo (I think another study 18-27 was done and there were similar discrepancies).
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 10:47 AM
1

Right but then men are involved so not sure that can account for much.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 09:20 AM
7

MAYBE go to the gym More girls are in the gym Sorry, this is kind of nonsense. Every single gym I've ever been in my life (probably more than 15) has always been a sausage fest. The ratio was like 75:25 in favour of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 07:13 AM
5

I mean who is to say that I'm the one suffering from confirmation bias, but can you actually prove/provide evidence for what you said? Could it be that you are the one suffering from confirmation bias? Also where is this? The US? Maybe location could be the difference between our experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 06:44 AM
4

I mean I went to plenty of lectures and compulsory meetings (that if you didn't attend you would fail) and all the guys there were pretty social. Not just that, in first year I knew pretty much all people in my building and none of them were antisocial. You seem to be conjecturing an infalsifiable claim though, how can you prove that guys are more antisocial then girls in college. Do you have any concrete evidence?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 11:30 PM
0

I can tell you a big reason is bc a lot of guys never go out. They sit at home and play video games and work from home. You're never going to meet people like that. Hmm when I was in university I didn't meet a single guy who was into playing videogames all day. Most guys I knew liked to socialise and hang out.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:07 PM
1

So if the study was done in the age range 23-27 would you expect the numbers between men and women to be even? Because I'm pretty sure that this isn't the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:00 PM
2

I'm not really convinced that the discrepancy actually can be explained through that factor alone (or at all). As I said somewhere else, I haven't really seen many people having relationships with people outside of university. Not just that, according to your assessment guys in their late uni years should be getting more actions than their younger counterparts which definitely wasn't the case in my experience. Most people got together within their own year and for hookups age was practically irr…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 07:54 PM

That doesn't explain the discrepancy between genders though.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 04:45 PM
1

Male variability. Men will always be at the top and at the bottom of these things. I don't understand what this means.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 04:44 PM
1

Sure I'm not denying that it could be a factor, but assuming 5% of women are lesbian that would account for less than 2% of the difference. And this is without accounting for the number of gay men. I'm just stating that it is very unlikely that this is the primary reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 04:40 PM
8

Hmm I'm not convinced by this. The number of lesbian women should be around 25% of the female population to account for the 13%.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 04:34 PM
2

it’s still only 13%. I disagree that this is not an important gap. Sampling the number of sexually active people, this 13% means that the number of sexually active men is 28% less than the number of sexually active women. Considering that women considerably desire sex less than men do (this is also confirmed by other questions asked in the study) and the fact that this trend has only been observed and it likely to widen, I do think the gap is quite significant.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 04:32 PM
0

Most people I know at that age are dating people their own age This was my experience in uni as well, most people dated in the same year or year above/below. However, for hookups no one cared about age.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 04:18 PM
1

Ok thanks for your opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 03:58 PM
1

But the study says 18 - 24yos so I’m using those ages. Sorry my bad, I mentioned the 18-24 because that usually accounts for 99% of students, but I don't think the study mentions that age rage. I think I should have wrote 18-22 instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 03:48 PM
5

They started dating at 20 & 22. Two years later she’s a 22yo upperclassman and he’s two years out of college but they’re still together. This can happen although most people I knew broke up or they were in the same year.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 03:40 PM
4

The women in the 22 - 24 range are probably having sex with men in their mid late 20s who wouldn’t be counted in this study. Actually most students at UK universities are in the range 18-22 since bachelor is 3 years instead of 4 and UK (at least many of them) students enroll at uni at a younger age than their American counterparts.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 03:37 PM
22

Ok so you are saying that girls in college are having with members outside the college? I'm not sure how it is in America, but in the UK the social circles of 95% of university students consist of other university students.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 03:29 PM

Wow what an insightful truism!!! You really added a lot to the discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 03:27 PM

But how can height not matter then? I mean the demographic of purple pill debate is vastly different than the average woman irl and every single time I have asked about desired physical features in a guy, height has always been mentioned by the women I spoke to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 10:55 PM
1

Reason for what though? For casual sex or relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 10:15 PM

I mean that comparison is flawed. The guy want to have sex with you thinking that you want to have sex with him. He wants to fuck you thinking that you find him attractive. Do you think that just because a guy wants to fuck you, he sees you as a hooker???
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 10:11 PM

Yes, but I am allowed to be selective about who I have it with, yes? Sorry I don't understand your argument. How does that change the fact that women have it easier to find sex partners than men? Are you saying that you are very picky about who to have sex with? But then I don't see the point you're making.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 10:01 PM

But you can hook up, many men can't do that even if they know the women they want to hook up with.

In what world do you live where people aren't allowed to do that? Also why shouldn't people complaint ridiculous high standards? If people are allowed to have standards then why aren't people equally allowed to criticise them? Your entire point is complaining about people complaining, which is so contradictory.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/21 11:45 PM

Lol, it's not about the post. It's about the comments coming from the same group of people that are being hypocritical.

Muscles are a factor, but it is overshadowed by things like height and race.

He would have remained a virgin a lot longer if he was not white and tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/21 08:58 AM

Fact is the men who are really killing it both for hook ups and for relationships are attractive men with good personalities. Nonsense, all you need is to be tall white and not ugly, personality is mostly irrelevant unless we consider serious relationships.

Good for you, but you're not the overwhelmingly majority of women.

How many women would be ok if a guy wore height increasing shoes? Not many, even the liberal Reddit types (check AskWomen as an example) that think gender roles are rooted in sexism don't want that. But for some reason if a guy complain about makeup then they get annoyed.

Absolute menhating nonsense. This is basically like saying that the vast majority of the male population are rapists.

Maybe, but statistics about weight on men and women usually rely on BMI index but men naturally have a higher BMI so using the same comparison for men and women doesn't make sense. So there are probably less men that look overweight than the stats report. However, the US is full obsese people so it's likely that being slim is perceived as somewhat better for a man.

I think it's height. Let me explain, height might not be everything for women but it is the most important qualifier that discards the greatest percentage of men. There is no other immutable physical feature for which many women are willing discard 85% of men. Being short is far more influential on your dating success than being tall. In other words, if you're below a certain height your dating pool shrinks drastically. Above average height, it becomes less and less important. So being short is …

Do the women on this sub actually ever give some useful advice? All I hear everytime is empty truisms and platitudes like yours that add nothing to the discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 11:34 PM
2

Most guys don't care about height, actually some really like short girls. So whatever issues you have with your self image is just a byproduct of your mind, because short women aren't considered unattractive by society.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 11:23 PM

Hmm no. Trust me, your weird perception of yourself isn't comparable at all to what being a short male is like. When it comes to dating, you just can't compare short women and short men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 07:47 AM

Yes, statistics about short men are a blatant example (e.g. suicide rates).

If you're tall and not ugly as a man then I imagine it's not too hard. If you're a woman, you probably don't need to be trying.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 11:16 PM

I'm not particularly attractive (just tall), You're underpaying the importance of height. For women it seems that tall = attractive for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 11:14 PM

This is exactly what I think as well. Honestly, women here talk so much about the fact that men would do the same, but if men ever started having these sort of discussions publicly they would likely be first ones to shame them and call them sexist.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 09:06 PM

How many women leave tgeir partners for a richer and more attractive man I mean using your same argument, it's because they can't otherwise they would.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 09:00 PM

Yeah, I think so. Women have this strange perception that if they are taller than a guy they might be stronger. A girl friend of mine made a comment about penis size and how she was surprised that the short guy (around 5'8'' I think) that she is (and she is shorter than him) with has an above average dick. In all honesty, it is hard for me to believe that height is about being "attractive" in the sense "pleasant to look at". It seems to me that it's more about physical presence and women (and I …

No not really. None of them is religious and politics is something that we never talk about.

Honestly you're just abusing those words. Redistribution requires a distributor, an entity or institution and no one other than crazy idiots is arguing for that. What people are pointing is the sexual imbalance in the dating world and the double standards that men feel they have to deal with. Nothing about complaining about those things is about the creation of entity that redistributes sexual favours. I'm pretty sure if men could stop the rise of casual sex, Not by forcing women. No sane person…

I'm talking first date, second date, third date and so on. Only two of them have long term girlfriends, I don't know how they handle the money but I imagine they split everything, but not sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 08:35 PM

How the fuck is that arguing "redistribution of sex"???? Not sure what you mean by those words, but to me redistribution would be the creation of an entity that allocates "sex" to people. So basically forcing women to have sex. Which no sane person would ever argue.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 08:31 PM

Yes. No nothing extravagant but just food in restaurants or activities like going to aquarium or other stuff like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 07:36 PM

I'm focusing on the redistribution of sex Can you provide evidence that men (other than crazy minority) is arguing for this?

What do you mean by "plain" woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 07:19 PM

Like sure the 5'4" balding guy is obviously way less attractive than the 6'3" rock climber So leagues exist?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/21 12:51 AM

Depends on how ugly. If he is face is really abnormal then maybe, but average or even slightly below average tall guy beats any attractive short for the majority of girls.
/r/seduction27/01/21 10:48 PM

Why the fuck people always need to compare normal people to fucking celebrities? If Floyd Mayweather was an ordinary guy, he would have no chance against the 6'5'' guy.

Same can be said for height.
/r/seduction15/01/21 09:56 AM

By default I would assume they don't. My claim is passive. Sort of like when believers claim the existence of God, but an atheist doesn't need to prove the non-existence of God because sufficient evidence to believe otherwise hasn't been provided. The burden of proof is on the believer.

You might know more but definitely not enough to claim that most women ends up in abusive relationships extrapolating from your personal experience alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 11:31 PM
1

How do you know most women do? Also the fact that you ended up in abusive relationships doesn't say anything about other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 11:19 PM

Nope, but that's just a strawman because most women don't end up in abusive relationships.

enough social skills that you don't fuck it up. That's so easy though. Like unless you're completely inept, you don't need much.

I mean I thought you were trying to say that women don't dress provocatively when they clearly do.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 08:10 PM

I have never myself meet a guy who was successful with woman that wasn't successful socially in general I think there is definitely a correlation. But for getting laid, the most important factors are height and looks(you can just walk into a club or bar). If you haven't got those you will have to work a lot harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 08:01 PM

Oh no! A woman showed her ankles! Lol ankles? Im used to seeing girls in freezing winter im dresses theat barely cover their ass. Ngl though I found it impressive because I don't think I could do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 07:54 PM

Yeah, in university most of the guys in my group were involved in a lot of activities but very few got laid (despite trying). The girls on the other hand were smashing regularly (apart from the few that were in relationships).

Have you even seen the first video? Just imagine the uproar if men did that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/21 12:06 AM

If you are very good looking as a man, you can get away with much worse than that (at least for casual sex).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 11:57 PM

Sure, there is strong correlations between some traits. But for example, the correlation between height and iq is very weak. Also it is hard to say how much of the correlation is intrinsic and how much is due to societal factors.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 04:19 PM

Given that average female height is something like 5'3, a 5'9 guy is just fine. So the average woman discards 50% of men based on height alone? Imagine if you take other things into account. That sounds quite bad for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 10:25 AM

That correlation is VERY weak

There was another related IFS study where 12% of the sexless men reported that they didn't want relationships (mostly due to religion, I believe). That number has increased. I very much doubt this is the case. Religion is in decline in pretty much every part of the western world. If religion was the reason for the sexlessness then we should have seen the gap to decrease since people are less and less religious m. So I don't think your theory holds. As for online dating, I absolutely agree that o…

And this is where I disagree with the article. To me you really have to be blind to claim that men don't want relationships (there is even evidence for this, I think there a was poll conducted by pew research centre on this that was posted here recently). Imo the gap is widening because men are having a harder and harder time in dating because the imbalance that online dating caused. Women are the "prize" when it comes to online dating and their options are far more than men and hence they are m…

5 and 6 are the only things that might explain the growing gap between men and women. I'm pretty confident that if you sampled 24 old women vs 27 years old men, the discrepancy would still exist. Also how do you know that porn is a cause and not a symptom. It's funny how you clearly neglected the biggest revolution in dating in the last decade which is online dating (which imo is the largest source of discrepancy between men and women).

Thanks for the link. That study clearly suggests that percentage of yound sexless men is much higher than sexless women. What is the explanation for that? Also the percentage is increasing much faster for men than women, how do you explain that?
