Something tells me TED isn't stupid enough to do that. It says TED Women at the beginning of the video, so I think the audience is probably composed mostly of women and were probably chosen because they would be sympathetic to the speaker.

I was allowed to sit in on my parents trial. If there is any possible way you can, do it. Have your fathers attorney ask the judge. My dad thought it would be a mistake to have us there.
