I’m quite happy. I enjoy cursing: it’s unexpected from the mouth of someone that looks like me. And I’m not defensive - if you haven’t realized this is fun for me or I’d not be doing it, I feel bad for you (son. I got 99 problems but… you aren’t one). I’ve got some fortune-cookie-advice of my own for the self-confessed monkey (I’m among the great apes): don’t tell others what to do. Don’t tell women what to do with their bodies. Practice introspection. Figure out why someone like me pushes your …

Why do you care who I date? But since you’re trying to prove a point: no, though not because of income. It’s because I don’t want kids. You should’ve asked if I’d date a man that either never worked - trust fund baby - or retired in his 20s (or whatever age). That you didn’t think these are options tells you all you need to know about our respective realities.

Reading comprehension is probably higher-level cognitive reasoning for some, so I will clarify: I don’t give a shit if you (both specific and general) get it together. Why would I? I don’t date idiots and, frankly, people that believe this garbage aren’t exactly tipping the scales. Well, maybe some scales… The question posed was, how will this change dating. My response is based on my personal experience: a man’s income doesn’t matter as long as he’s contributing equally in other ways. Which I s…

Ugh. More men chiming in on what women do. So useful! I earn… more than enough. Like, stupid money. I’ve dated men that earn more than I do and less. It doesn’t matter because I don’t need to be taken care of. But the man has to have his shit together - it’s not like I’m lacking choices. That I choose to be with him is very easily revocable. So, the answer to your question is: men better learn to contribute in other ways, including sharing emotional labor.

Bahhhaaahaha What qualities make you a leader? What have you earned? ( no need to answer, it’s rhetorical — mediocre men that need external validation from bossing partners around are the only ones to say this shit. If you had any real, earned power and confidence that comes along with it, this wouldn’t even come up.) Good luck, l leader. Thanks for the laughs

Judgmental? Check. Closed-minded? Check. Entirely lacking in empathy? Check. Spouting buzz words learned from others like him on the interwebs? Ding ding ding!! The prize you’ve won is permission to distance yourself from the person you’ve described, but not because they’re weak; because you’re not a friend but an emotional leech.

Sure, pick a small group and wildly extrapolate an illogical conclusion based on one set of beliefs. You can make the same argument about people believing in god. … But let’s use your brilliant example (/s, if it’s not already painfully obvious) to prove that women are smarter then men! Have you ever heard of a woman marrying a man because he’s got great legs?

Fucking with you; though the grammar thing is legit - why undermine your own argument with something as stupid as poor grammar? People automatically write you off. I’ve never seen the point of useless endeavors. I argue for a living; I don’t do it for free. So, this is really intended as one-sided entertainment. Sometimes I’m kind. Usually, I’m a dick. Wanting to be a lesbian is hyperbole - if I wanted to sleep with women, I would. I also don’t need the same things from a man that many women do - different income brackets, different needs. That doesn’t mean I am blind and don’t realize how much more women take on and handle - and are expected to take on and handle. That I know incredible women whose lives I watch in utter fascination is not hyperbole. And they manage to make it look effortless to those on the outside looking in. Hell, I’m one …

You again assume (wrongly) and you know what they say about those who assume... Of course I know men that have most of those things; they’re my dating pool. A few can even cook, which is special if they otherwise have someone that cooks for them. But in the end, they lack that last ingredient, the “raisin” as the French say — oftentimes, it’s the personal touch, as when it’s the secretary preparing and sending the cards they sign. Sometimes, it’s the need to be reminded… I’m bored of saying the …

No, you’re wrong. Just too stupid to understand even when it’s simplified to the extreme. I don’t know why you’re obsessed with my sex life - it’s not like I’d ever look at you even once and think, that’s the man I want! - but appreciate your hopes for me.

Again, your anecdotal experience does not a rule make. … what you’re describing, in an oversimplified way, is a love language: some people enjoy / understand acts of service. Not all. And many would find that kind of codependency an unattractive trait.

Ok, I’ll try English again: It’s never correct to say shouldn’t “of” — always “have” Your argument is circular - essentially, because I wrote this, you must be right. That makes it illogical - because I wrote that does not mean I never had a different experience. Explaining both grammar and logic to you is a waste of my time. Which I just wasted. So, you’re welcome but I’m moving on - whatever you believe does not change my reality. So, safe travels on your path.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/21 01:18 AM

I am clearly not your woman. If cooking you a meal and cleaning up after you are what fulfill this woman and make her happier in the relationship, I am completely unable to relate, and that makes me unable to answer on her behalf. That I find it difficult to believe is beside the point; I laugh at its absurdity whether or not it’s true

Bless your heart: should “have”; never “of” — I assume English is the only language you speak? It speaks volumes about the validity of your argument and merits about as much attention. Good luck!

I don’t know how to tell you this without hurting your feelings, macho big-man that you are, but you repeat the same argument without fully comprehending that your reality and mine are different, and dismiss as “stupid” what you don’t understand. (In fact, your lack of introspection and empathic listening to others’ experiences are a microcosm of the differences I highlighted above.) So, let’s talk about those “big expenditures” you’re sitting and planning, big man. First, I’m not you. And I’m b…

How do you know what I have and haven’t experienced? I’m not drawing generalizations about you - though I can, and easily. But you go on believing whatever helps you rationalize your worldview - it’s the same to me.

I fucking love men but wish I could be attracted to and marry a woman. I tell my girlfriends all the time - they’re killing it in every way. Looks, success, plus they know what needs to be done without ever being told. What did they do when George married Amal? Just 🤯 or? I should’ve used that as an example when attempting to explain the difference between how such men (that they don’t know but put on a pedestal; don’t get me started on the Freudian implications) treat 20-somethings vis-à-vis accomplished women they consider “their kind” Edit: they call over 30 “post-Wall”?? All generalities are wrong (ha) but this is wrong, generally speaking. This is probably true for someone that believes she needs a man to provide - fertility is where the value lies according to your ideology, right? But that view is such a disservice to women who bring so much more to the table. I am dumbfounded at the idea that a woman’s worth is in her uterus. Want to have smart children? Have a smart woman. Want to alleviate poverty and reduce crime? Educate women. In the end, it all comes d…

Was about to agree with you when I realized I already did, above. The rage is so interesting to me - so many of these men actively want this to be true. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised but somehow, I am. (Maybe they don’t realize that internalized anger ages them faster and causes a slew of problems, including heart disease, so they’ll be too old and decrepit to be of any use to all those high-value 20-year olds waiting in the wings.)

I don’t date lawyers because I practice in a niche area and don’t shit where I eat. Also, the smug ones are the ones who try too hard, which is entertaining but unattractive. The ones that really make the weather aren’t the ones pretending to be big shots on Reddit 😉

Also a lawyer, also that age, just a woman. And... yup. I won’t get into specifics but life is great. Also, unlike the narrative here, approaching relationships from the standpoint of equals removes so much of this power-imbalance angst that’s being described. Most successful people want to be proud of who they’re with. In sum: the reality is pretty much the opposite of what’s being described - the 25-year olds are the playthings, which is unfair because they’ve not had time to establish themsel…

Lol @ “even at mid 30s age women have suitors and can still be picky” This is what 24-hours for a woman in her mid-30s really looks like. I’m genuinely surprised anyone really believes this crap - shouldn’t a rational person consider the credibility of the source when figuring out whether to trust their information? That a lot of “involuntarily celibate” people on the internet say it does not make something true. But whatever makes you feel better
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 10:22 PM

I agree with you, with the caveat that I think it’s harmful to both sexes. The fear of being seen as weak that is masked by anger usually finds its outlet in and is channeled at those perceived as weaker, which are usually women since a “a man is a man and a protector of the weak: women and children”.

You’ve mentioned only maybe 28 times in this post that you’re 22 and graduating at 22. Cool beans. So what age are you graduating again? Thing is, why worry about something that’s not affecting you? Another thing about anecdotal evidence is that you really shouldn’t extrapolate therefrom. Good luck!

You realize you’re getting consensus from a very limited pool? Mostly people subscribe to this specific sub for a reason. Also, why ask Redditors? Go to your target audience (i.e. men you want to actually date) ... There’s a reason most people marry within their circle. Sure, you have trophy wives / husbands but generally speaking, people with advanced degrees marry others with the same. You want to be proud of your partner - men especially like to show off their “possessions”. And in many ways,…
