Almost as if we're not a monolith

Idk someone could be e.g. caring, generous, loving but also lazy? Or just have a really awful sense of humor. Or just have incompatible needs in terms of career ambitions or level of physical activity like be really outdoorsy and someone who prefered to cuddle and watch tv. Or just have incompatible conversation styles. I suppose these incompatibilities could be papered over with love and care and generosity, but it would be more of a strain vs. someone who already had the same ideas about e.g. …

Well, various dimensions of compatibility (sexual, etc.) but yeah. It's both the most important thing and the bare minimum. No one should be settling for a partner who doesn't provide those things...

Um... You realize that women can buy shoes in mens sizes, right? Like, my feet are big and I'm more practicality focused so I often buy mens shoes. I just subtract 2 from my women's size and buy them if there are shoes in the men's section that I want. So if I wanted these boots, I would buy them ? What am I supposed to be outraged about? That they're not available in pink? lol

No one haha. I was just looking for news on the Taylor Swift thing that happened and didn't look at the subreddit I was in. The funniest thing is that as a feminist, I stand up for men's rights all the time. I make space to discuss issues that men face. Gender rights are tied together, you can't solve one without the other, and most feminists would agree with me. So I support you in your efforts, battling the other side of the coin. But that's neither here nor there. Carry on.

That's the whole point. They know they are risking their careers and yet they are coming forwards anyway. Why would they do this if not to expose criminals? Sexual assault is underreported BECAUSE OF people likeyou, therefore it takes incredible bravery for these women to come.forward.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
