I definitely hear you. I'm sure every guy would prefer to be intrinsically desired, the way men desire women. But is that really a reasonable goal for most men? It may not be easy, but building wealth or a strong body is relatively simple. That's totally different. The guy had a fantasy but didn't realize he would feel different about the reality. It doesn't sound like he blamed anyone else or evaded responsibility.
