If standards drop them I think there may be some room for legal maneuvering against this action. But then again it's the army. I lead a rifle platoon, lowering standards is out of the question. Hopefully SecDef realizes what he's doing is messing with a life and death situation

Question 1: ”Are you a player?” Damn right I am. Question 2: ”Yeah, I bet you say that to all the girls..” I don't talk to girls. Question 3: ”What’s the matter? Like every big changes in the military this is all ground in "progressive" politics that will make the military "better." As someone who will be affected by this, I can tell you I have male soldiers who have enough of a hard time performing many of these tasks. However, I am not opposed to women who meet the same standard as men. The big question right now is will they actually make the physical tests and standards the same to determine what women can actually perform at the same level

To me, this means I could give a fuck about what is thought of me, as long as I complete my mission and my men are taken care of. I regularly get yelled for not "going with the flow" and "don't you aspire to go higher?" No I don't. Have I broken with what I'm told to do in order to complete tasks and missions and prevent hardship to my men? Hell yes, all the time. My view is that you aren't shit unless you take care…
