Lets change your bodybuilder/weak man scenario and change the roles into a "5 year old" who starts hitting "a professional boxer". Women = children. Got it.

I think maybe they have to pay for the check-up because they are volunteers and not conscripted. In which case, men who are volunteers and not conscripted would also have to pay for the check-up. Just a guess though.

A 17 year old man can forcibly hold down an adult woman and rape her right? So a minor can rape an adult. You're defining having sex with a drunk person as rape. Therefore, if a 17 year old young man holds down a woman and rapes her, or if he has sex with her when she is drunk, in both cases he is raping her and he is a criminal and she is a victim. But to be fair, we have to treat things the same way no matter the sex. So basically, what you are saying is that if an adult man statutorily rapes …

Actually, he connected with her face within 2 seconds of her hitting him, which means he started throwing the punch before 2 seconds, which is well within your nebulous window. She was still very close to him. How was he to know if she was going to hit him again or not?

It is just as "bad" as focusing only on a woman's intelligence. Except focusing only a woman's intelligence doesn't incite traditionalist white knights and appeal to women's power as sexual gatekeepers so "feminists" don't care about that.

men still hold most positions of government, most senior positions in corporations and companies That's because those men got started 40 years ago, when sexism was still a major problem for women.

Andrea is a first time offender and her sentence was going to be pretty lenient. But she is a violent offender. And she is not a minor, like her victim was. And she did this to a complete stranger. Maybe a man in this situation wouldn't get prison, but he would get jail.

Eliot Rodgers is half Asian, and there is a picture of him. DC Snipers were black. Does Chris Dorner count? Several female mass shooters. Not that any of this matters. Why would they complain about something likes this when every time a woman does something awful, especially killing children, she receives tons of sympathy and is deemed mentally ill even by the reporting agencies?

To be fair here are some other quotes from that article: someone who parks their car in a bad neighborhood with the keys in the ignition and leaves it unlocked with the motor running? Obviously, we still blame the car thief for the actual theft and “Deserved” is a different topic. Meaning what he is discussing is not what these women deserve. He puts the word victim in quotes immediately after two examples. If you read those examples he may be trying to say that a lot of women in those situations actually do consent to sex, but then regret it later and cry rape. It's possible, but I don't know that for sure, of course.

You guys do not like to be generalized as violent and hyper-sexualized and yet I see in many of these posts women are generalized as manipulative and emotionally unstable. Examples? I don't think anyone in the United States has been drafted since the 1970's. All males must sign up the selective service in the US at the age of 18 under threat of imprisonment, huge fines, loss of suffrage, etc. There are plenty of poor disadvantaged men and women today that end up in the military without needing t…

Yeah, so supposedly they said that the new definition includes being "made to penetrate", but none of those examples fit that definition. In every one one of them, it was the victim who was being penetrated (if we assume that in the cunnilingus one the man penetrated her vagina with his tongue). The definition reads pretty clearly, and it does not include victims who are "made to penetrate". I'm starting to wonder if they said it did just because it's such an obvious double standard. By doing what exactly? Googling "black women 18 white men 17"? By this point in the conversation he had provided no information whatsoever, just that he had heard a statistic, and no he didn't know what it was or the nature of it, but it meant that "black women fair very marginally better than white men". white men only fare very marginally worse than black women. You can't make statements like that based on a statistic that you not only don't remember, but don't even remember what it is. Incarceration rate? Sentencing disparity? Lifetime likelihood of incarceration? And then you get upset that I expect you to produce this mystery statistic. This is a good question for feminists and women who argue that it's all about the "adequate" care of a child that has come into existence. Why can't fathers legally surrender parental rights? "Because the child deserves the support of both parents, the people who played a part in creating it." Then why are parents allowed to give up children for adoption? If a child is born, both the man and woman who are responsible for its creation & existence are its parents, and are at least financially responsible for it. The child is an innocent party, and deserves support from both of the people responsible for its existence. Is this a true statement or isn't it? both bio parents, if they are known, must agree to the adoption and legally give up their rights. You are absolutely correct. But be prepared for this argument: "Well women never actually get to wash their hands of responsibility because women either have to go through an abortion or through pregnancy and giving birth - both of which are unpleasant." That is the line they use to justify not only giving a woman a choice, but that choice having so much power (child support payments) over the father who doesn't have a choice. broach the subject with the mother? You don't have to if you don't want to. As long as your name is on the birth certificate, you don't need the mother's permission to do a DNA test on the child. It may be scary to have your name on the certificate, but you can check to see if in your state there are clear rules about time limits on challenging your status as legal parent/guardian. For instance, in some states, you should have no problem getting your name off of the certificate if you do the DNA…

Do both people have the capacity to consent? States also define who has the mental and legal capacity to consent. Those with diminished capacity — for example, some people with disabilities, some elderly people and people who have been drugged or are unconscious — may not have the legal ability to agree to have sex. These categories and definitions vary widely by state, so it is important to check the law in your state. You can call your local crisis center or the National Sexual Assault Hotline…

It shouldn't be that surprising. Alimony, child support, not getting to see the kids, etc.

Especially not in India. Reddit told me so.

Some people just don't understand simple concepts, like bargaining power, or the fact that sometimes #jobs < #people or #goodjobs < #people, etc. At the worst, I imagine some of them are thinking "he's a white male so surely he wouldn't work that hard unless he wanted to, right?"

If you were drunk and she blew you... thats rape. There are very few of the United States where this is the law.

It is if that's your defense mechanism.

This is kind of the why if I had to take a guess, I would say that men have it worse than women in the US (not that it's that important who wins the oppression olympics). Even if women wanted to claim rape as a women's issue (which obviously makes no sense), when you talk about how sexism affects men vs. women - somehow many women always forget that when sexism affects men, men often die.

I found out that you can do a DNA test on the child without the mother's consent as long as your name is on the birth certificate. And some states (?) have a 2 month - 2 year period when you can contest your status as parent. What's confusing is they say that DNA test might not be accepted by the court, but I'm assuming it's enough to get started and then a court can order a more official DNA test.

Right, but how do you do it without the the mother knowing? Or would it be easier than what I'm thinking? Could you like, do a DNA test on a week old baby without the mother knowing or something? EDIT: yeah I guess I would still be worried about the birth certificate.

With your wife and the mother of your child?

I agree with you I guess. The thing is, if a man hopes to to raise the child with the mother, asking for a DNA test could totally ruin the chances of that happening. I'm saying asking for the DNA test will insult her and then she won't want to be with the father, BUT, of course, the father then gets stuck with child support for 18 years which might not have happened if he didn't ask for the DNA test. Yeah he would still have to raise the child, but maybe with the mother, and not having to pay ch…

From the information we have, though, it's still very much a "he said - she said" situation. I feel terrible that the situation that did happen, happened. He's not saying what that situation is. He's not calling it rape.

I see a lot of tweets about "yellow fever". Is anyone going to acknowledge that a lot of asian women prefer white men? What does that make them?

What you will find is that statistically, women are much more likely to abuse children, but the thing is, that could be a byproduct of women being around children with no one else around much more often than men. One could argue that if men were alone with children as much as women were alone with children that abuse rates would be similar. But honestly, who gives a fuck? What you're describing is ridiculous. Some men do bad things. Ok...so that justifies treating all men the same way? It's like…

The same reason so many of them like BDSM and rape fantasies - it gives them power. The more they can deny that they actually want sex, the more power they have over men who can't deny that they want sex.
