Out of curiosity I just checked and rule 2 is "no spam/self promotion" 😂

Absolute nonsense. People who aren’t self-aware have difficulty communicating their needs, neurotype aside. My husband has ADHD, and while I absolutely handle more administrative tasks than he does, that doesn’t mean I “wear the pants”, any more than the CEO’s personal assistant is the one running the company.

We’re a minority for obvious reasons, but there are women in open/ENM/polyamorous relationships who are RPW. It’s a toolbox, not a ruleset. OP absolutely needs to have a conversation about expectations, especially if she entered the relationship with the (logical) assumption that he was monogamous. FWIW, in ENM circles it’s expected that you disclose by the end of the first date that you aren’t monogamous. Bait and switch is completely unethical. I’m not saying that’s what happened here—he could…

My husband works in the casino industry with an annual income of about 45k. I went on maternity leave at 39 weeks pregnant with the intention of returning after 18 week (because I loved my job)…then the pandemic shut down my employer. We’ve since realized that we save so much money with me being home that it doesn’t make sense for me to go back to work elsewhere. We live very modestly, have 3-6 months expenses in savings, and our only debt is a car payment.

I worked until I was 24 weeks. I had planned to work through my entire pregnancy, because I loved my job and wanted to create as smooth a transition for them as possible, but was put on bed rest. Definitely wait until your 2nd trimester.

On the contrary, a man who knows he wants biological children is better off not pursuing a relationship with someone who doesn’t want or can’t have them. Just like we should vet for common life goals, so should they.

Stop loitering and giving bad advice here and in RPW, and start participating in the men’s subs. Sidebar, lift, get yourself where you want to be. Then worry about whether you want to get married. And for the love of God, stop asking women for advice on how to be a man.

Don’t bother with the chest you’re not a dude. Chest exercises will improve the appearance of sagging breasts from weight loss. Only up to a point, but it makes enough of a difference to at least throw in some push ups.

I would encourage you to find an Al-Anon group for yourself. Their meetings were instrumental in helping me handle my father’s (and my ex’s) addictions. Nowadays you can even find discord or zoom meetings. Having the support of people who’ve been there can make all the difference for your ability to handle a difficult situation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
