The distinction is based on how you use the information you find out from teasing. Teasing is testing someone's comfort zones and insecurities. Once you find something they're insecure about, do you use it against them or do you use it to help them? A bully or mean person is going to find out their soft spots and take advantage of them. They'll bring them up in social settings or just hammer on them to make the person feel tiny and horrible. A friend, or a flirt, is going to hug those soft spots…

Try a different approach. Imagine these two scenarios. The first is what you're doing now, and the second is what you should be doing. You're at the DMV, in a 1hour wait line to renew your registration. You're reading a new book you're really enjoying when a stranger sits next to you. Stranger 1 - "Hi. What're you reading?" You - "Oh it's this dating book, I'm trying to get better with girls." S - "Cool. You know, I'm really good at dating. I slept with probably 10 different girls in the past mo…

This is great advice.

Invite her along, if that's an option. Maybe scalp tickets or something if your friends are cool with having her. Or apologize, tell her you need a better way of keeping track of things, and then reschedule with her. Just know that since you're cancelling the plans, you have to probably initiate twice in a row after this for her to believe you're still interested. Like, you'll probably suggest something and she'll say no, then you gotta suggest something else later on and she'll probably say yes…

This dude gives a good overall strategy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6MxPx6DBaM And this dude has good micro-strategies. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=la+ruina+night+game The strategy I had for college game was just to have fun, experiment with everything, and always end up under a blanket with a girl. Always have a condom nearby, and always just fucking go for it man.

What do you want from this relationship? Friends? FWB? FB? Girlfriend?

That list isn't for dating. It's for finding people's passions. The questions are boring on purpose, to slowly build comfort. You make a very good point about direct statements though. I'm just in a lot of circles of deep, sensitive people right now. So I've found that you can't challenge them too much too early or else they'll clam up and never go deep with you.

I really liked her, how can I recover from that in the future? What about her are you curious about? And what do you love that you think everyone should know about? That's what you should talk about.

Very concise and potent advice. Thank you sir

I have a couple default questions I'll ask to flesh out people's passions. Start very general, based on their appearance, then slowly get more intimate. People are without fail, always more interesting than they think they are. "Do you play any sports?" - finds all the current/past passions for anything athletic ((Followup question -> "What was your favorite?")) "Do you like music?" -> "What's one of your favorite songs right now?" or "Do you play any instruments?" "Can you draw?" -> "What mediu…

You don't have to aim for a gf or wife right now. Aim for some FWB. And apply to a real job, fail at getting it, and ask them what you need to get that job. Then start working on that.

Ok, so be ready to lose your job to drama. But if you're cool with that, I'd suggest being just friendly and flirty while you're working, and then try to set up an after-work hang out asap. Then you can start laying on the sexual energy and see how she vibes with it. Don't get sexual while you're working though. It's just blue balling both of yall and will get you in trouble easier. Like, she can call your boss and say "this dude is being creepy" and get you fired. But she can't really get you f…

Thank you for that first point. And then At what point are they running off? That's a really good question, I haven't really thought about it.. Ok, so it's usually when there's a conversational vacuum, a silence. Which usually happens when I feel like I'm dominating too much and I want to give them space to do whatever they want. But then it's like they get overwhelmed with that power, or they get insecure, or they get bored, and then they run off haha. But they'll be receptive later if I reopen…

Awesome, ok, thank you! I like that a lot better than what I was trying to do haha

Awesome! You're awesome sir. Thank you! I can definitely remember a situation where I did #1 and it went really really well. I just did not make that connection, so I didn't continue doing it haha. I'll start using that more often. Thank you so much!

Oh man, eye contact. I need to get better at that haha. Thank you sir, I will put it into practice immediately. I hope your situation got more comfortable too.

Thank you so much sir! I love your analogies and will definitely start trying them out. Thank you! What are you actually doing when you open them? Ok, so the examples I'm thinking of are at house parties or daytime social gatherings. I'll introduce myself and just curiously ask them about their lives (school, free time, work, dreams, etc etc). And they answer eagerly, but they have this "deer in the headlights" look and never ask me anything in return. Then they run off. So I used to assume they…

I'd rather not post pictures of myself. But to give you an idea, I'm Spanish, Native American (Apache), and British. I have a long, white face with a very sharp jawline, and high, pronounced cheekbones that house some incredibly large dark brown eyes that get super squinty when I smile. It's an odd mixture that gets a lot of attention apparently.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
