Practice your flirting - you work in a bar, right? You have tons of opportunities to practice harmless cute flirting on your customers! You can gage how different approaches/openers are received by women, keep the successful ones in your mental catalogue. Of course there are always people who won’t be receptive just because they’re in a bad mood, or they have something crappy going on in their lives, or they’re waiting for their boyfriend or girlfriend to show up, that doesn’t mean you bombed. T…

But that’s just life... You fumble in other areas of life too and it’s no big deal, right. Just make a game out of it, practice your flirting and you’ll get better with time. Go out every weekend and practice on people you don’t really care about impressing. As you get better you’ll get more comfortable with it - women will sense your comfort and confidence, and that’s hugely attractive for them.

It’s really, really creepy to be 38 and still be interested in women in their 20’s. And having all your friends be in their 20’s. You’re almost middle-aged! I think you need to take a hard look at yourself, because you seem like a textbook case of Peter Pan syndrome. And leave the 20 year old girls alone, for fuck’s sake. And stop lying to them about your real big age.

Are you only approaching at the gym? Is this the first time these girls see you? We often don’t feel comfortable with a perfect stranger approaching. Handsome guys can be even more intimidating, too - you’re going to have to be more strategic to overcome that. I met my husband on an online game chat. He caught my eye in the chat because he was friendly and patient with everyone. We communicated a bunch back and forth before he sent me a selfie - holy crap the guy was drop dead gorgeous, could ea…

Beauty is subjective, some people prefer the fake look.

I’m suspecting that your lack of interest in her personality was unconsciously telegraphed to her, women can be quite perceptive of this. She doesn’t want to date someone that’s not interested in her personality (and rightfully so), so she just blamed it on her perception that you were ‘checking out other women’ as it’s quite easy to get rid of an unwanted man that way. I don’t get why you kept toying with her if you weren’t interested in her personality - wasting other people’s time isn’t it, y…

Edit - apologies, I put my response to the OP under your comment. I agree with you. She lost interest in him because she could tell he wasn’t interested in her personality, so she told him to get lost and OP is now blaming it on her InSeCuRiTiEs… 🙄

Yup. That’s the best and only reason to work on improving yourself - to improve your own quality of life!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
