Dropped in to say that I subscribed just because I heard this sub-reddit was "quarantined" (see: censored -- I couldn't access this on mobile). I never subscribed because, back when I looked through this subreddit, I agreed with maybe 10% of what is said in here and say maybe 25% of posts are hate speech or borderline and I don't want that negativity in my life. yep i agree. on a relevant tangent, i read in a feminist book about how we should be using the term "people-kind" instead of mankind. in the name of equality, I think you should feel similar amounts of agreement/outrage with both these cases of semantics rehashing.

wow I went to see the cal men's rugby team DOMINATE BYU and I can't believe anyone would cut that program (and i'm from a rival school). completely stupid move. im completely sure its just because rugby has 15 players on the field so it has big numbers. idk about the other programs, but the rugby program does not deserve to be cut. especially after they WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP last year.
