True self development is inner work that eventually expresses externally. Self development is the reward. "getting more girls" is some nice extra. The issue with the self development space is when you become a follower of some guru or concept instead of a student. Be a student not a follower.

Might be an idea to cycle older goated posts, 1-2 a week. Just to show everyone what good content is. And a reminder is could't hurt.

Okay, I respect your attitude. Therapy is not replacement for TRP or talking with real bros about the masculine. TRP and talking with bros is not replacement for therapy tho. Therapy can be used as a tool to dig deep inside our subconscious. We can try to do this alone but the subconscious is expert at bullshitting us. Therapists are trained not no. A good therapist doesn't say a whole lot, they just ask simple but the right questions. They can help uncover limiting core beliefs that we have (be…

I think that makes a lot of sense. If you tell your hard times as a hero story instead of bitching how bad it was, it will be a huge difference in how you will be perceived. Would really appreciate it if you could share your view on vetting.

I can’t think of anything worse for a man than therapy. If a guy has to talk about every bad thing that’s happened to him for 2 hours straight, of course he would be depressed. A shrink explains why it’s ok to be fat Idk man, your writing seems extravagant to me in this comment, it makes me doubt you other content as well. You are endorsed so just gonna leave it at that.

Everyone has these and it is so important to know what they are so you can counter them and treat them. Lives can be ruined by untreated limiting core beliefs, they affect career, finances, romantic life, fitness level, everything. “I’m not good enough” a core belief many young men have these days is dangerous as it is a self fulfilling prophecy left untreated. We will act accordingly, to stay congruent with our beliefs about ourselves. When there is ‘too much’ succes, self-sabotage comes into p…

You probably have a limiting core belief along the lines of: “I’m not good enough” / “I don’t deserve love”. Limiting core beliefs are beliefs we have deep down in our subconscious mind. They are created in childhood and almost hardcoded inside of us. They will always come back to the surface if not dealt with properly. The feeling you have is not about the woman perse. It’s just a way your subconscious is reminded of this limiting core belief. It’s like salt in an open wound. Deal with the beli…

It makes sense that the instinctual negative association with high N count is biologically due to not knowing if the offspring is from the self. Paternity testing is not even 40 years old. so this instinctual feeling will not go anywhere soon. But if the instinct is solely from that, it’s pretty much obsolete. That’s something I want to dive deeper in.

I know, the studies will be warped as well, just trying to get a broad scope on the matter. at some point you're going to have to have a little faith in the wisdom of the elders Sure, but this is also an echo-chamber to a degree. I can't blindly trust in anecdotes and analogies. I am grateful for them but I want more data, not sure if I will find it though.
/r/TheRedPill16/12/22 12:41 AM

New, clean and fresh of course I am trying to find out why exactly. There is intuition, there is the social part (Shame around being with a high N count woman as you said) and there is our own insecurity. I don't find those things very convincing. And I don't belief some random guy with analogies saying 'trust me bro' neither should you. Someone else commented some sources with actual data so thats cool

Thanks man, appreciate it. I will study these

You have any data instead of analogies that dumb down humans? Thanks
/r/TheRedPill15/12/22 02:25 PM

Intuition can be clouded with my own insecurities. So I try to also look at science & data.

Thanks for the answer man. Even without source its a good answer. I read about the last part as well. That makes sense. I will do some deep diving in that. I can work with bro science but at the end of the day I need some backing

So its a social reason that has to do with respect and shame. Is there any other reason why high n count woman are less valuable?

Can you post sources on the lower body count better ltr rate dynamic? I have read about this a lot but the single source is just some religious funded research which I don’t trust fully.

The only thing I would add is make sure you're not going for women too above your league. I get that internalising stoicism in the face of rejection is valuable. Instead of the "200 approach 0 lays" I started with dating apps going for 6 - 7 woman and found succes here. First 3 dates where 100% hit rate. This gave me confidence and the winner effect The "winner effect" is a term used in biology to describe how an animal that has won a few fights against weak opponents is much more likely to win …

Efficiently & productivity at work is not always better for your general well being. At the end of the day life is (for me) about having meaningful fun experiences. To build and leave something larger than myself, a business, family, passion project, whatever. Work to live instead of live to work. Mental health is important, if you are running yourself down to be as optimal as possible you are not efficient, and btw that is totally okay. We can not be in the flow 100% of the time. We have slow p…

Great topic OP, thank you for sharing. The experiment with cold water was done with an ice bath up to 1 hour. So a cold shower is still beneficial but not as much. Another thing to pay close attention to is layering. Layering different kinds of (high) dopamine actions will make things even more fun but will also fuck up your baseline levels. Making the next days boring and shitty. Example of layering: going out for dinner with friends, socializing having fun, drinking alcohol, smoking. Example 2…

Nice work so far. If you keep doing self development steady everyday you will be golden. Therapy is great, read 10 pages a day of a good book. ‘The Slight Edge’ ‘Think and Grow Rich’ ect. Go to the gym at least 3 days a week. Getting a personal trainer would be even better. Regarding money. Good start. Next stop is indeed letting your money make more money. The more it can scale up the better. Software, services and products. Things like real estate cost a lot of money upfront so we leave this f…

For the bad lifestyle I can recommend you to read The Slight Edge. The book will give you insights about how small actions taken everyday towards your goal, will get you there. Things that are easy to do but also easy not to do. This principle might be simple but to really understand the importance of it, I highly recommend you check out the first pages of the book. “The Slight Edge” by Jeff Olson

This principle is also called The Slight Edge. Book with the same name goes deeply on how to apply it in pretty much every area in your life. Recommend.

negative visualization Ask and you shall receive. I don't really like the aspect of negative visualization for that. It is good to know the negative outcomes. But to visualize it? nah. Visualize the interview being difficult but you will pull through to the end and will be successful. When it goes terrible, own it. Next one will be better. Then be surprised when it goes better than terrible This just sound like playing to not lose instead of playing to win. Just my thoughts, but to each there ow…

As someone who has worked in the legal sector for 6 years I see what divorce does to men. In the UK the courts are biased and more lenient on women. My friend's partner cheated on him for 3 years and then tried to take all of his assets. He was aware of it over the final year and was slowly moving his assets into cryptos. In the court he's just declared that this money has been lost (says it was gambling for him). There is no way to prove if he is lying or not. I am happy that he got away with i…

From a Quora anwser (This guy knows whatsup) In France its called "keep the peace". According to Wikipedia "preserve the peace" within French families, with the French government citing psychologists who state that fatherhood is determined by society, rather than biology." But you should be aware it is common in all western countries for men not to have any rights and whose lives are considered common resources for all of society. Whereas with women women have all the parental rights from concep…

It's all about balance. I don't think it's as black and white as you say it is. It's not about how long you spend here on trp. It's about what you do with the information you have learned. Do you go out and practice? Or do you only consume content (masturbation) But that is just my opinion. I would like to know what you think about that and why. Cheers

That is why I haven't swallowed the red pill completely. I don't know if I want a girlfriend if you cannot show weakness. But to be honest. I had a rough time and showed weakness and told my inner feelings to my then girlfriend, she was almost perfect and really sweet. 1 month later she cheated on me. this doesn't mean red pill is right. But I can't help to connect the dots. I read some comments that said, you can open up and show weakness but you have to have confidence and control.
