A couple years after highschool, not long after turning 20. I had decided, due to experience, that I was happier when single than I ever was in a relationship. Even the best of relationships quickly turned into a drag, a chore to keep up with that gave me no benefit, mental or physical. Been single ever since and haven't regretted a thing. It wasn't until 2-3 years after that when I learned the term "MGTOW", what it meant, and that it pretty much described the mindset I had already come to.
