Not necessarily, but that will help to not lose muscle mass if you eat the appropriate amount. You do also need carbs and fat in your diet.

Yeah, this is probably DOA. If you can't get her to see you in person, it's probably not going to work, nor really is it worth your time IMO.

He's ugly, but his confidence is sexy! I actually think you are wrong here. I think this can be exactly the case sometimes.

Not a bad combo at all. Just eat enough that you aren't continuing to drop weight (unless you want to). Depending on how much you run, that could be a significant quantity. I love running, and generally do 7 miles 3 or 4 times a week (for the fun and health/mental benefits, don't really train for anything), but I need to account for the extra 1K calorie burn. I also hit the gym at least 3 times a week. Plus, it keeps your heart and endurance in good shape, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I really like improv. Toastmasters is along the same line too, really kills the anxiety around doing things that are uncomfortable around other people in general. I also think improv is very much so based on active listening, wheras a lot of people are thinking about what they are going to say next instead of actually listening, which greatly helps with conversation skills.

Depends entirely on what you want to look like. Personally, I am aiming for ~10-12% body fat at about 160-175 lbs, and I'm 5'10". Today I'm 160 at ~15.5% body fat and mostly trying to recomp. CICO + Hit your macros for whatever you are trying to do.

"The pain of rejection is acute, the pain of never trying is chronic." *Saw that yesterday and man is that super accurate.

No, it never goes away entirely. It definitely gets easier and diminishes quite a bit the more you just talk to women though. I also am a big fan of just talking to everyone, you get accustomed to shooting the shit with everyone (male, female, children, cars..heh), and then it really does just become second nature. Then it is really easy to end with "hey, I really enjoyed talking with you, we should do it again, what's your number?"

Well, you either work through the stress and just do it. Or work with a therapist and then just do it. Either way, you need to just do it. You could always try app based dating too, being above average, it is really easy to get numbers and dates, and you are behind a screen (until you meet of course).

Sounds like a good plan. My firsty was a walk around the lake + ice cream (ended up just hanging out and I walked her back to her car, which was like 1/3rd of the lake). Tomorrow we are meeting at a local speakeasy at 8PM, probably more expensive than a first should be, but I like the place.

Shit son, there are cute girls everywhere (including at toastmasters)! I feel like once I know them, its a cake walk, it's the ones I don't that are tough (cold approach). To me tinder just makes things easy anyways, you know you are both at least looking for something similar. Have fun man, and good luck on yours too! What are you planning on doing?

Cheers! I have my second tinder date coming up tomorrow, #1 was pretty easy, we just didn't click, but we had no problem keeping a conversation flowing. Just shoot the shit, you both have lives to talk about, just roll with what you have. I also talk to everyone everywhere, it is good practice. I also recommend taking something like toastmasters or improv if you would like to work on your conversational skills. Also, be a good active listener, don't focus on what you are going to say next, focus…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
