Congratulations. Curious, did you get 50/50 custody? I think that is a win in itself!

That was my plan yesterday but work and other stuff got in the way. The court office is so far away that it makes it difficult to do at lunch.

I just signed my complaint paperwork ready to take it to the courthouse this week. I thought the soon to be ex would want to talk about it before the filing. The more I think about it, the more I don’t want to talk about it. Just done with all the BS.

Man I am so sorry for and share your pain. Being in a loveless marriage sucks. You see your life passing by. Weight gain is an epidemic IMHO. Too many refuse to think they is something they can do to manage it. Always looking for that magic pill then they give up. I wish I had advice to give about how to approach this. My circumstances are different as there is so much more writing with my marriage. Good luck to you and I hope you find peace.

If you have a gmail account, you can use Hangouts to communicate. The conversations will be stored in your gmail account. You can even get a Google Voice account for SMS delivery.

Haven't had one yet. That night she went to bed early. Last night she didn't say anything. I have my initial meeting with a lawyer on Monday so I am not wanting to start anything up until then.

So I inquired with a lawyer earlier today. Just a few min ago my phone rang. Thought it was the dr. It was the divorce attorney. My volume was so loud that the spouse heard. Her response was, “I guess I have some phone calls to make now.” I guess that sort of answers a lot of my questions.

I feel yeah bro. Same here. Married 15 years. No sex in the last 7. Me 47 years old. I just finished filling out divorce papers online while watching football with “her” sitting the other couch. It’s gonna be tough but worth it I feel. Stay strong.

Man that is scared the shit out of me. We always read the horror stories how women get it all because the system is setup to protect them. You can be the best person, best dad and even a good husband, but just not that one person.

Just wondering if anyone used this guy. I have read that several women have but can’t trust everything you read.

With the laws built to protect the women, I wonder why anyone gets married these days. No one can tell what will happen after 10+ years of marriage and children. I am in the same boat as o/p and i didn't my spouse would be interested in money until a recent conversation. This tells me she has been doing some research to see what she might be eligible to. Why does this have to be so difficult!!!!!

I don't understand why the spousal support? Are the children that young, she can't work to pay for her own life? I only ask this as I am at a fork in the marital road myself. I don't want to get screwed financially and it seems all stories show how men lose.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
