What's the point of a genuine connection with someone like that. What if you had met under different circumstances and things were going great and months later you're moving in together and then you discover the dozen bikes in her garage. You dodged a bullet, especially if you felt line you could have really liked her.

So I actually read through most of this. The one piece of good advice I got was don't assume a girl is interested just because she is responding, she might just be being polite. The point is emphasized several times: Don't be boring, don't put pressure on her to keep the convo going, don't text her stupid shit if you don't have anything to say, etc. But then >#6 Ask her to send you a funny picture or something. This is a great post! You very thoughtfully break a lot of things down. At the same time certain details (school news broadcast, class clown twice!) as well as your easy going writing style suggest to me that your social success is really probably more a product of who you are than what you do. I'm going to go ahead and say that as one who is not a great reader of body language this one is fairly easy to catch. To be honest, I first became aware of it long before I knew what an "IOI" was from bolder women who wanted me to be aware of it. Example: We're on the couch, I notice she is staring at me like she's hungry and I'm dinner and her eyes are actually getting bigger like the big bad wolf and OH MY GOD I THINK THIS GIRL MIGHT ACTUALLY WANT TO FUCK ME! (though in all fairness, dork tha…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
