Winners Win. Anytime I hear one of my buddies talk about someone, malicious or not, regarding success or accomplishments all I say to them is 'Winners Win'. Ends the excuses before they can start. Once I realized life is only winning and losing, I stopped having to fake the 'dgaf' mentality. If there was something I wanted, I didn't give it a second thought unless it could help get me to that goal.

Whenever I am faced with a precarious situation, I ask myself WWCD (What Would Chad Do)? Yikes. This a gross underestimation of the securities industry. Why not start out with an Index fund? Only look for stocks paying dividends....the fuck? If you're a younger investor you wont own enough shares to even notice a dividend. Don't forget companies like Lehman and Enron paid dividends too. Not OP but thought I could help here. Learn R. Having a solid understanding of statistics and inference helps.
