At the moment I really only read and do general sorts of things everyone does like going to the movies. I used to be into video games but I quit as they were such a time sink. A new hobby is something to work on for me.

Thanks, at the moment I have stalled in my lifts and the numbers aren't that great. I don't have a lot of muscle at the moment, only a bit. I'm going to get as lean as I can and then focus on hypertrophy. I'm probably a very long time from being happy shirtless.

Thanks, well done on your weight loss man. I find meditation to be difficult because my mind wanders so much, but I guess it is all practice. Counselling works a bit man. Sometimes I'm not sure if it is just the catharsis of just getting all the stuff troubling you out, or whether what they are saying helps. Either way, I do feel a bit better after going.

Ok so questions: Some things yes, but i need to work out career and stop comparing my life to others. I'm in a financial job, I'm pretty good at it an people have told me so. I have an OK time depending, most of my friends would say they enjoy my company, I'm frequently invited to things that they could easily not invite me to without repercussion. Thanks man

Career is something I'm still working out, at the moment I'm good at what I do, but it doesn't really interest me or lead to me using any of the good skills I have. The most motivational thing I think are the replies I've gotten here and also progress I've made in other areas. I also have to not give in to self pity as I have in the past. Like that Stephen Fry quote says, it 'will fulfill all its prophecies and leave only itself.'

Hi, thanks. Career is something I'm still putting thought to. I have done a number of jobs, a couple have been well paid and the current one I could continue to do for a long time. The issue is that it is easy and I dont get to use my best skills and talents. Its another area of my life to work out haha.

Hi, thanks. I'm not sure what you meant by you know a tonne of people that have an awesome success rate? it seems confusing paired with the sentence before and after. Anyway, the kind of women that I want are ones I can talk to about stuff like science, history, world events. I'm drawn to more feminine women than say tomboys or 'one of the guys' types.

Valuing myself is going to be tough. The reason being that a lifetime of being of no romantic value to others is a lot to ignore. I value a number of things about myself, It just doesnt seem to be enough. thanks

Thanks for your post. In regards to non-neediness, I have read 'models'. Its something I have to work on, because at this point its very hard not to want something when you have worked so hard to get it. I'm going to try to be more like you in not putting too much power in other people's hands in terms of my worth. That is really motivational, I may have to re-read it every now and again to stay on track. I'm good at communicating with women, I am a pretty good listener and know how to hold a conversation.
