Men have never had sex without the intention of marriage? Really? Are you sure?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 10:07 AM

Lol, you know someone just wants to argue with with women when the response to a question is ‘I can’t argue with this, say an argument’.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 09:27 AM

Lol. I dated women in my 20s I would never marry. The idea that men don’t date crazy women for fun and settle down with someone more stable is pretty nuts. That’s obviously happening.

Yes. What you’re looking for in a partner changes from fun in your 20s to stability in your 30s. That’s true for both genders. Why exactly is that an issue? Many times, it is the same guys. In my 20s I was a partier. In my 30s I settled down. Women in their 20s wouldn’t date me now and women in their 30s wouldn’t date me then. I grew as I aged just like women do.

Women are out here looking to have fun and experiment in their 20s to see what they like and then want to settle down and raise a family in their 30s? Oh the humanity. They want to do exactly what men have been doing for centuries? Should we be mad about it?

The fact that people think rape accusations are believed immediately shows a true lack of understanding as to how the world works. Get off the internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 11:42 PM

I understand you choose forcing babies to live in poverty. You don’t need the lazy gotcha tactics.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 10:50 AM

Babies would survive for hours / days outside of the womb. How long would a clump of cells continue growing? Let’s not pretend that’s the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 10:29 AM

Agreed. There are millions of deadbeat dads. And that’s when forcing them to be dads. Lord knows what the levels would be when allowing them to be deadbeat dads.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 09:58 AM

Yes. A baby isn’t a baby in the womb. It’s a parasite until it can survive on its own. An abortion has the same level of morality as using lice removing shampoo.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 09:56 AM

If a woman has a baby she can’t afford, there isn’t a million families that will take it in. So you want the burden to fall to tax payers instead of the man that actually had the child? You’ll pay thousands more in taxes each year to support children that other men created? Or does the state do nothing and babies are just raised in poverty? Which is it? If everybody made good choices, there wouldn’t be a baby in the first place. So let’s not rely on everyone’s good choices when there’s already a…

Women being passive in dating and showing emotion is not toxic femininity. Better?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 09:47 AM

Women showing emotion and not dating you is not toxic femininity. There are examples that could be construed as toxic femininity but these aren’t it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 09:41 AM

So rather than the father being accountable for the child he created, you feel the child should suffer by never having two parents responsible for their development and growth? I guess you just have to decide if you want the man who fathered the child to have the burden of responsibility or for the innocent child to shoulder the burden. I know my choice.

I really don’t think the concept is just a tool women use against men. That makes it sound like a female conspiracy which is a bit tin foil hat to me. Managing emotions is important and some men are better at it and some women are. And it is draining if your partner is not good at it.

The mens rights subreddit has 350,000 followers most of whom are very right wing. That’s compared to a fraction of the people elsewhere that are left wing. I guess my question is if being right wing and a mens rights supporter are so mutually exclusive, why is that the overwhelming majority of mens rights advocates?

Is there an actual politician who has said those things? Or is this just a hypothetical thing you made up to make it more dramatic after immediately telling someone not to make things up to make it more dramatic?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/01/24 12:29 PM

Psychopaths most common feature is charm and charisma. It’s insincere, but no one can tell.

The only people that think the patriarchy has an effect on society are feminists. And sociologists. And anyone that’s studied gender in society. And most men and women. And the majority of the population. But a small group of radicals that dislike women on this subreddit know the real truth and everyone else must be crazy.
/r/MensRights01/01/24 04:07 AM

Lol. I googled ‘what do feminists say’ and it turns out it’s millions of different people with varying opinions and not a hive mind conspiracy like you thought.
/r/MensRights01/01/24 03:24 AM

So why don’t you tell me one feminist that said ‘women cannot report rape because of how they will be questioned’. Just one feminist that said that. Only one. Pretty reasonable if you are suggesting they all say that right?
/r/MensRights01/01/24 02:57 AM
-27

Nah. It is. Feminists don’t say any of that stuff. You just think they do because people continually say crazy things like that. I could say ‘feminists say men should be serving as slaves’ and everyone would upvote it and agree, despite it being full blown crazy.

I’m glad other people have time to do hours of research to complain about feminism. I want to complain like everyone else but I don’t have the time or commitment to make up all these quotes about what feminists say.
/r/MensRights01/01/24 02:45 AM

Trolls don’t get upvoted. And my comment is upvoted. I’m sorry you don’t agree but most people do clearly.

Molesting children was not legal in Australia if you were a woman. That is a very odd thing to make up.

I was just trying to frame men making more money in a way that showed men as victims. It’s important men be seen as victims.
/r/MensRights31/12/23 11:21 PM

No. Women don’t pay nearly as much tax overall. Men make significantly more money than women overall so they are taxed more which is a very unfair burden on men. Making more money than women ends up being a disadvantage.

This isn’t true. I don’t have any evidence to refute it and obviously these studies were done by people more qualified than me but I reject it.

I’m sure that’s happened. Though I don’t feel the need to make sweeping generalizations about any gender. For example, there are more men that are assholes than women dating assholes. As the opposite is quite impossible. So judging women as a whole as ‘liking assholes’ would mean you have to judge men as a whole for ‘being assholes’. It’s why generalizations simply don’t work.

I’ve only ever been a man so I can’t really comment on if what she is saying is true. But I can see how there would be a lot of examples of those things. She definitely gets criticized for dating when you didn’t hear that about Clooney, or DiCaprio (disregarding the age thing) or other playboys. I imagine there are some things women get criticized for more and some things men get criticized for more.

Being kind is important. But faking kindness to try and get sex is not being kind. It’s being deceitful. So being kind to someone you want to have sex with tells you absolutely nothing and is therefore not a good way to evaluate a potential partner. Too many people will purposefully fake it to be valued as information.

That’s crazy. If I had to guess, it’s because men were 50% more likely to be taught to read at a young age. This Carried right up until the 2000s and there is still 10% more men learning to read. So maybe they have ways of trying to encourage female education through programs like this since still far more men are being educated.

‘Nice guys’ are how people describe men that ACT nice to women when trying to sleep with them but become mean when sex is not an option. Like buying a girl drinks and talking with a woman, getting rejected, and then calling her a fat sl*t. They were only acting nice thinking it would work, they aren’t actually nice guys. There’s a whole subreddit r/niceguys calling out these types of people.

There isn’t a day I wake up that I’m not letting feminism ruin my life. I see it in the women I meet, movies I watch, politicians I vote far, commercials I see. Everywhere feminism is the cause of everything that makes me upset. It’s not just hurting men, it’s making living unbearable because I can’t stop thinking about it ever.

I’m saying Canadian sexual assault laws aren’t gendered. Because they aren’t and this person claimed they were. Are we really downvoting the true facts because we are just choosing to believe the lie? That’s horribly echo chamber like.
/r/MensRights31/12/23 10:56 AM

Canadian law does not charge men or women with rape. Since bill C52 was passed in 1983, the term for any sexual violence is sexual assault no matter what gender you are. What feminists lobbied against this change? I don’t recall anything like that. Was that before 1983?

A lot of people get angry when they see someone being helped when they want help. It’s why people will hate on immigrants, refugees, minorities, women or just about any group being helped because ‘what about me?!’

Isn’t telling someone to press charges to ‘warn others about her actions’ basically telling everyone to treat her as guilty even without a conviction? That’s exactly what women do and I hate it. You shouldn’t treat people differently unless they are convicted.

You think once women feel the impact, laws, societal pressure, male help programs, and humanization of men will just start happening? I hope so…but I’m not sure.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
