She was a friend in the same field as me yeah. High performing too. But I acknowledge that she's a unicorn. If they're ugly they're not dating down. Women want, by and large, men that have higher status than them. If they're successful engineers, it's kind of hard to find higher status than that, especially if you're ugly. By their perspective, they have to date down, that's all I'm saying

what does it mean if a guy makes a woman wait for sex? You're flipping the script as if the sexes have the same experience in dating, while they're on average extremely different. It could mean he's one of the few that ticks all the boxes (height, athletic build, high social status) and thus can pick and choose whoever. His girl consciously or subconsciously knows that, but will stick around in hopes that she'll be the one. That, or he's a devout Christian or smth

I was in a top STEM uni in my country. I found a unicorn, she was smart and beautiful and not into hookup culture. Sure, her being beautiful was the first thing I saw, but her being smart doesn't make her less attractive but more attractive as a quality relationship/marriage gf material. Noone cares about your opinion (no offense). Most care about general success, that's why most ignore posts on how to get "the one". Congratulations if you lost weight eating pizza and drinking beer but people here want results, and it is easier for you not to eat calorie dense food. Similarly, it's better to fake confidence and fake body language than being original if that means quirky, needy, awkward and hopeless
