He can file a temporary order for her to keep you on the health insurance until you can figure out another option. Given that your life literally depends on it, I would think the judge would approve it. But you can't do anything until you're in court. Nothing joint. Any income or asset that you accumulate during the marriage is considered marital property. The only way to overcome that is with a prenup.
