Suppose you were trying to count to 1,000,000 from 0 at an increase of 1 number counted per second. That would take you a little under 12 days with no breaks, no rest and no mistakes. If you were annoyed at the difference between two sequential numbers you'd have a damn tough time getting through 1 Million. as for any significant learning based goal it'll probably take several hundred to several thousand trials to adequate learn.
