i feel like the ad was a blatant ragebait with a lot of people falling for it on both sides. One thing in particular that kind of rubs me the wrong way is the whole subtext that if you are hot and attractive (due to your genetics which you got no control over), the world is basically your oyster. It sends a crappy message to the population that if you got the better genes that you're automatically better than the people who didn't and as a result they will be jealous - and that's too bad for the…

Totally. It's understandable why so many younger men are avoiding marriage now as a result.

Yeah she sounds unhinged and very mentally unstable. Narcissistic people are so difficult.

Of course... how did I know, lol. By the way, what does your ex even do to pull in that kind of money each year as well as yourself, if you don't mind me asking?

how long does alimony last for in your case and how much? That's so stupid though. If there's no kids involved and they've demonstrated that they can work then why the fuck are men on the hook for an ex's bills. Shit makes no sense.

I don't even understand why the government/state is involved in marriage in the first place, especially in this day and age where women are free to do whatever they want. Bunch of bullshit.

You mentioned in another post that she basically assaulted you in front of the kids right? I think their perception of you will be okay regardless of what happens as a result of a divorce. Just giving my two cents. Hang in there man.

What a bitch. How is she even morally okay with behaving this way. It's rough enough just with the whole situation of her getting with some other guy, but she can't even financially uphold her end? Real piece of work some of these 'women'. Let me guess, she's always been bad with money?

Posts like this are why I get very very annoyed when people online/reddit are like "get a divorce if you're not happy! You're choosing to stay miserable in a shitty marriage so you can't complain! Don't stay for the kids because I was a child of miserable parents and bla bla bla" People say you only have one life which is fair in this context, but no one ever has any solutions for what you're supposed to do in order to repair your finances in the aftermath. And I don't wanna hear any bullshit ab…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
