I think here's some legit philosophical value in the converse as well. When you meet someone who you find attractive, enter into a relationship with them, and then find your attraction to them gradually diminishing its a telltale sign that there's something else wrong. I would argue that the stuff involving men is considered far less mainstream than the stuff that involves women. I would also argue that it is less abundant and more difficult to find. Less demand, more regulation, who knows.
