Are you me? I too used to visit both cracked & the escapist regularly but now I just.... eehhhh. It wasn't even a concious effort on my part to stop - just slowly faded out of my browsing habits as the bullshit started piling up. Man I miss 2008 :'(

yeah sorry I know I know :( I guess there is a little part in the back of ones brain just really enjoys getting worked up about inconsequential bullshit.

I was just pointing out that apple aren't being bad or condoning it - it's a dictionary. If the definition of rape is something being done by a man, then that's what a dictionary should say. And given a choice between laughing or crying, which would you take? :)

Hey now don't be so hard on apple, there are some countries where rape can only be committed by a man, by law. If a woman does it it's sexual assault :)

This is from the UK so actually only men are legally capable of commiting the crime called rape. :)

Hey I agree with you completely, people shouldn't put themselves into dangerous situations and sometimes victims aren't totally blameless, but it just pisses me off when amateur rape prevention experts (who obviously know lots about criminal psychology) offer handy (read: ridiculous) tips and absurd meaningless analogies to other incomparable crimes.

Are you serious, or trollin me? Of course if someone stayed in an airtight box in a submarine wearing a suit of armour then there would be a lower chance of getting raped, but we are talking about the real world here. And the thing is there is NO POINT to so many "handy tips" the rape-experts have for avoiding it because they are universally applied AFTER someone has been raped. jpaul3211 who I replied to clarified himself in a way that makes sense, just telling people to be vigilant. I'm not ev…

Okay, so "Don't walk on those train tracks or you might get run over by a train. Don't jaywalk or you might get run over by a car." , from this you seem to be implying that there are certain things a woman should do (or not do) to lower the risk of getting raped? I wonder what those are in your opinion... Don't go out at night? Don't show any skin?

Yeah I have no idea why people are hatin on you so much. Surely her taking personal responsibility and not trying to bleed the guy dry are good things? Admittedly if he had actually wanted to be a part of the kids life it would have been awkward though...

How is this (OP) post making fun of feminists?

seriously? It should be pretty obvious I disagree with some BS feminist tumblr blog given I'm posting it on MR. I just though people might want to see how this is getting (mis)represented

What I love is that a tumblr with the description "A site that brings women and men together in the spirit of knowing that equality doesn't exclude anyone. And that the fight for other's equality is a fight for our own betterment." Calls the U of T protest a "pro-feminist demonstration". Mind boggling.

Obviously this has massive relevance to the cause of mens rights, and isn't just saying "women r so shallow hurrrr" AT ALL.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
