Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Academia is a bitch THIS! :') Being in a science field, I haven't really got time to commit myself in a relationship. Heck, you don't even have lots of girls around and most of them you encounter are in a relationship. It's confusing to ask her out because I don't want to hit on a girl who's already committed. Mostly the post doctorate phase is done by around 30. So, you soon might be able to give more time towards your relationship.

Now I'm pondering if the concept of soulmate is a myth or not. Given the number of people around, it's very probable that there are more than one "soulmate"-type person(s). The factor of 106 (after considering "at least suitable") makes those slim chances (as a probability) much more significant. Also by reading what you wrote, I guess you don't want to be very committed(?) to someone (quoting "successful relationships"), maybe there isn't any more chemistry remaining after some time. Oh well, hello there! I'm not sure what are you trying to say. My guess: since soulmates don't exist, do you mean you would be hoping from one man to another throughout your life... Oh and given that they are above 6 feet? Don't you think that's being a sl\t*? No offense.
