This situation sounds very familiar. Ex who took no responsibility for her role. Going through divorce now and hoping it ends sooner than later.

Time is money. If 50/50 is doable quick and easy with assets and custody do it and run. The more you prolong it, the more it will cost you in the long run. I was over 10 years so I'm offering a lot to move on and start fresh. Your sanity is worth a lot more.

Depending on where you are located. Inheritance is your sole property and typically is retained as sole property even your married as long as you don't comingle funds for it. Get a lawyer to confirm but this in what is the norm in California.

Just went through something similiar as well. I'm in the tail-end of the process. Started initially going through mediation than she served me at work. I got a lawyer shortly thereafter. Im in socal and fought for 50% custody and nothing less than that. In the end its not the ideal situation but ill be starting my life over again. Some stuff can't share in public space until things are signed. If you got questions hit me up.

Hmm how is this 50/50 custody if you have them 27-29 days a month while she has them 2 days a month. Im hoping your not paying any child support. Were either of the homes the primary home when you were married?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
