Yeah same. I think micro cheating is a better term for situations like that since affair sounds like there was sex involved.

Definitely! And if they're using a woman as a free therapist I consider that an emotional affair or 'micro cheating'. Plus if he's using someone like that chances are he's also just using you.. I'm glad we know better now and can see through all that bs.

They don't believe they age at all so how can they die? To them aging is solely a woman's problem. That's why you hear about so many creeps in the nursing homes grabbing at their younger nurses, in their minds they're still in their prime.

Any guy who has a woman as his bestie is now a no from me. I learned that the hard way and it was awful. Any woman a guy has as his best friend is just someone he's waiting to have sex with or date.

We do not want to be used or abused. We walk away at the first sign of disrespect. We have respect for ourselves and keep our standards high. We work on ourselves and continually strive to be better in all aspects of our lives. We know being single is far better than dealing with the stress of a low value relationship. How does this make us a hate sub? I can only guess that it's because we're not coddling men. We don't praise them for taking out the garbage that one time. We don't want their lim…

I know so many Facebook dads it's annoying. My friends will handle all the schooling, extracurricular activities, any and all illnesses and everything else that comes with taking care of a child. The dads will see the kids 1-2 weekends a month and will plaster it all over social media with everyone praising them in the comments.. They don't answer phone calls so their kids stopped asking to call them and they aren't reliable enough to be the school's emergency contact but that one time they took…

My ex had a female bestie and I've never felt so horrible in a relationship. Jealous, insecure and controlling were words I heard repeatedly because I had a problem with the lack of boundaries between the two of them. She was basically his girlfriend minus the sex and I was not okay with it. When I finally felt strong enough to put my foot down about it he told me he needed space from me. He talked to her more and hung out with her more than me but he needed space from me? That's when it hit me …

Women you MUST give your husbands babies so he can pass on his legacy! And you must NOT gain weight even though pregnancy causes weight gain! And you must not ask for help with said baby even while recovering from giving birth, that is nagging! Also do his laundry and cook for him but don't nag about that either! Just let the man be if you want him to be attracted to you! Now if you're struggling to lose the baby weight weeks after birth because you're juggling all the house work, child care, re…

I'm bi and have had serious relationships with both men and women. One huge difference I've noticed between the two is their reactions to you paying attention to the things they say and do. Women are so appreciative when you remember something they mentioned briefly in a past conversation, no matter how small of a detail it was. Men get angry and defensive. Of course this is because I've always caught them in a lie. ALL the men I have dated I have caught in a lie and that includes small ones but…

You're exactly right and I appreciate that you used the term addiction. My ex would laugh and say it wasn't a drinking problem, it was just having fun on the weekends! (Despite blaming it on me just moments before and saying it was due to the stress I caused yet once I brought up the term 'drinking problem' suddenly I was boring and that was another one of his issues with me apparently) Now that I'm out of it I see so many other men just like him. They think the only way to have 'fun' and/or cop…

My ex used to blame me for his stress and his drinking to cope with said stress. He binge drank every weekend all weekend long at the bars then would say it was because of me and that I was effecting his health... All I was asking for was him to spend more time with me and for him to be honest about his female 'bestie' that he hung out with alone all the time. And of course he said that me even asking about how often he saw her also stressed him out because I was being controlling from wanting t…

When you get into a fight and he pretends like nothing happened the next time he talks to you. When you call him out on something he did that hurt you and he tells you it didn't happen. Then when you push the issue he turns it around and says it was your fault.. If you only did x,y,z more he never would have done that. Clearly his cheating/lying/ghosting was ALL your fault, he is innocent. Do better. When you have your guard up with him and he goes all out to prove to you how much he loves you a…

Mandatory supervised visits for all fathers and higher child support. So many men complain about child support whenin reality it's like $400 a month (if that) lol like no woman is getting pregnant on purpose so she can get a monthly payment that doesn't even cover half the daycare bill.

Right?! Like love bombing then discarding, faking vulnerability so you shows yours too only for it to used against you later on, wanting sex but not willing to give up porn so they can only get off to jackhammering, showing attention to Instagram girls while you have to beg for any kind of romance... And of course once you've had enough of their shit they go right back to love bombing you. But clearly it must be us being needy that's the problem.

IMO porn is the idea of women. A girl gets jackhammered dry and then has rough anal with no prep. But the behind the scenes aren't shown. We don't see the women taking rx painkillers beforehand or getting lube inserted.. And we don't see the aftermath like women getting vaginal and anal prolapses from all the rough sex plus tearing, lacerations, bruised cervix, pain/soreness etc.. Most women won't get cosmetic surgery to change their bodies. But men are so obsessed with viewing porn that anythin…

Thanks for sharing you story! It's absolutely heartbreaking how many women are dealing with trauma and addiction due to poor treatment and abuse from men. And like you said the women are always to blame of course.. It's gross. I've also decided that I done with dating. It's just not worth the effort and most men are too much of a risk to our mental health and wellbeing. Singleness is peace. And congrats on your recovery journey! I think it's amazing you want to help women who are dealing with si…

'The wall' was a huge factor in me staying in relationships where I was treated like shit in my early twenties. I was so scared of breaking up and not being able to find anyone in time before I hit 30 and therefore became undesirable.. Keeping women stuck in awful relationships that only the men benefit from while making sure older women don't feel confident is the only purpose of the bullshit wall. Men love to hide behind it because they know they'd rather have their porn sickness and their par…

I go by how I would act and what I would do. Would I ignore someone for days if I genuinely liked them? No. Would I be distant towards someone out of the blue just because? No. I don't give men the benefit of the doubt. They're acting shitty because they know they'll most likely get away with it and if they cared there wouldn't be confusion. They know exactly what they're doing and how shitty it is.

I hate how pregnancy and giving birth are looked over like they're no big deal. Even a pregnancy with no complications still comes with issues like morning sickness (which should be called what is it is- all day sickness/queasiness), bloating, heartburn and fatigue. Plus very invasive, painful Dr appointments that happen weekly at a certain point and you don't really get to choose who does them.. it could be a random man you've never met because you're Dr isn't available. And let's not forget wa…

I got a warning and my comment deleted for saying man child. Lady was working full time with a newborn and boyfriend didn't have a job and wouldn't watch the baby, but he was pissed she didn't lose the baby weight in the 6 weeks since giving birth and she was worried.. I don't go to that sub anymore it's a cesspool

No more upset tummy because the bad butterflies flew away! Seriously.. constantly feeling on edge/anxious because you're trying to tip toe around his feelings by holding in yours while also preparing yourself mentally for when the next ball drops (be it cheating again, discarding you, ignoring you after love bombing etc) puts SO much stress on your whole body. It causes stomach and digestion issues, high blood pressure, hair loss, shortness of breath, headaches, low quality sleep, loss of concen…

I can add a few more.. Prude and/or boring in bed - you won't do anal or let him choke you. Just jealous - you're not okay with his close female 'friend' that he openly flirts with and refuses to set any boundaries with Obsessive - You're having to have the same talk over and over about his inappropriate behavior because he doesn't care and won't stop doing it Bitter - When you're happily single but call out abusive behavior in a family member's or friend's relationship that they should not be p…

Bad day? Have a disagreement with someone and sad about it? Things not going exactly as planned? Emotionally unintelligent men will use any of the above as an excuse to 'drown their sorrows'.. Instead of being proactive by taking responsibility for their part in the situation and then trying to resolve it, they'll be at the bar getting drunk. Or doing drugs. Or hitting up strip clubs.. Whatever their poison of choice happens to be.

Going on a run to award yourself, I love it. The bars are opening up around me and everyone is flocking to them which has me feeling like maybe I'm a bit boring at the moment since I'm prioritizing my health. I'm going to look at it as rewarding myself instead. No one ever regrets exercising, getting plenty of sleep and drinking enough water after all.

I'm an only parent. I got pregnant and was scared, my ex convinced me not to do adoption. He was all for the pregnancy but not for the parenting. He hasn't seen our child since they were 6 months old, which was years ago. He doesn't even know what they look like now and pretends they never happened. It is hard but the joy far outweighs the hardships (at least for me). I'm so happy I don't have to co parent. All holidays are mine. All decisions are mine to make. There's not many men in my family …

It's nice to know I'm not alone! I think I stayed in that relationship longer than I should have because of how good the sex was and I know most other men aren't like that. I haven't slept with anyone since and I don't want to because it won't be worth the disappointment.

I broke up with a guy who was really good at making me orgasm. He was really into it and put my pleasure first. It was hard to walk away from him but besides sex he added no value to my life. I've started focusing on all the positives of being single and loving myself. I don't think I ever want to date again but sometimes it is scary thinking about not having sex like that again.. But not having anxiety attacks due to the way someone's treating me and getting 8 hours of sleep a night is worth mo…

That's a good point. I knew men had more testosterone but didn't know it was that much more, wow. Someone I know started testerone and said after only a few weeks they became less emotional/caring about stuff but a lot more angry over little things that never really used to bother them before.. After hearing that I'm glad I'm a woman lol

It's ironic too that any time abortion is brought up on reddit, men will comment how they'll only support abortion if 'financial abortions' become a thing.. So it's not about actually being concerned that abortion is murdering babies then, it's about men getting to choose instead. They don't want to support the things that have been proven to reduce the amount of abortions performed every year, they just want to control women.

Welfare bad. Free universal healthcare bad. Affordable childcare bad. Free or affordable college bad. Child support BAD - cap it at 25% of his income. Easily accessible birth control bad - insurance shouldn't have to cover it. Pelvic floor therapy.. what? Dr's never heard of her so most likely you won't either. 700 women dying from pregnancy and birth every year in the US? Ehhh do we really need to bring that up considering they had sex? I saw a post about sexual harassment at work. The top awarded comment was something like 'and 18% of victims are men' - can't remember the exact percentage but it was around there - and every comment that followed was how men are the victims when it comes to sexual harassment in the workplace too and it's not talked about enough!! But if 18% of the victims are men then that means that 82% are women.. Clearly it's a much bigger issue for women and it's far more likely to happen to them which is w…

Definitely. I was raised by a textbook narcissist so I swear I used to seek those kind of people out to date. I think there was some level of comfort with dating people who treated me how I was used to being treated all my life. It look a lot of soul searching and research for me to see the light so to speak. I'm so happy more younger women are finding FDS at such an early age, it would have saved me so much heartache if I had found it sooner.

I've had this happen with past lvm ex's over 'communication' Like radio silence for days.. Then when they would finally acknowledge my existence I'd bring it up like where the fuck have you been?? And their responses were always something like 'oh you want to know what I'm doing at all times?? You need to know everything I'm doing every second of the day?!' ..No, I do not. Right?! My fetish is to live a happy/healthy life and depend on no one but myself for it. Loving myself and not letting anyone into my life that doesn't deserve to be there is my kink. And I thought it wasn't cool to kink shame? Why is rape/violence/pedophilia okay but not me wanting to be the best version of myself? The hypocrisy is real and it's sickening.

The part about men only contributing a check was my favorite. Most married fathers go to work then come home and say they need a break. They don't help with childcare, they don't help with grocery shopping or cooking, they don't make appointments or plan things. Most of the time it's the woman who does all of it plus she's expected to work a full time job as well or else be labeled a gold digger. And then men will cry about alimony and child support when the woman decides to divorce him for bein…

There's no timeline for this either, it could happen a few weeks/months in or years down the road. The honeymoon phase is such bullshit. When I am serious about someone I am happy to see them, I don't withdraw affection and I'm not checking out every other guy on the planet - no matter how long it's been (as long as I'm being treated the same) I feel like the honeymoon phase concept was created by men so that they wouldn't have to keep putting the same amount of effort in as they did in the begi…

I got banned from there for saying men should have their own birth control so it's not all on women. I was told I was banned for brigading and when I questioned it I was muted. No men should be in charge of women's subs like wtf? How is that even a thing? It's bullshit and another way to silence us. And I'm sorry but no, simply putting on a condom is in no way the same as having to take pills/getting a foreign object implanted inside your body..idiots.
