People treating this like an issue of aesthetics are completely missing the point. A stronger core will prevent injury when you lift. Not only that but a stronger core will make you better at sex. I've seen black belts who were pudgy weaklings and others who could casually break multiple baseball bats on their shins. The quality of instruction varies a lot. Katas are essentially memorized shadowboxing routines, so I could see how they might help. Personally I prefer feeling mitts behind my blows and having to dodge punches and counter punch so I can train reflexes for dodging and an opponents movements. For self defense a lot of people tout krav maga etc as the best. But really even 1 month of boxing will give you a big advantage over untrained people. Knowing a proper stance (hands up, chin down, elbows in, body at the proper angle to your opponent.) and fighting concepts (put yourself off their line of attack while keeping them on yours will make them vulnerable.) can work wonders. I agree entirely, i'm constantly trying to employ and learn new techniques and do everything I can to learn from other more skilled fighters. At this point he's more of a respected training partner who's gym I fight out of who's shown me some good moves. We have a world class boxing coach and he hardly ever shows up on those days and it's odd seeing my skill level skyrocket and his stagnate and decline.

I don't disagree that she's crazy, she bragged about helping her husband with the murder and having accessory to murder on her record. She was chasing him definitely, once I realized she wasn't gonna fuck me (trust me I made sure.) I left and did something else. I think she might have fucked another fighter in the bathroom as well.
