It's all caselaw, right? The family law legislation doesn't really differ a ton between provinces, but you just get runaway courts in these two provinces. If you want to look at the high water mark for extreme cases, they almost all come out of these two provinces. You'll see men that earn 2m a year net give away 900k in spousal and 500k in child support, plus all sorts of stupid special expenses that will be endless. And yes, the mothers will often claim for special expenses like a vacation aft…

I'm a canadian lawyer, not family, but everything you're saying is true. It's even worse in BC and QC.

One of the top comments: "Are you me ? Last semester I thought I was going crazy. I had at least 5 white male students telling me things that were waaaay out of line, in the same vein as you. Example: one student just wrote me: if you don’t change my grade, I’ll ask for a review by a comity." Imagine claiming to be a professor, while spelling committee as "comity". That is real comedy right there.

Lol, having antisocial personality disorder with narcicistic personality disorder isn't a gift. Most people with that combo are in jail. If you're otherwise talented and you have minor traits of these personality disorders than you can be highly successful. I work in commercial law and I swear you see these traits in most of the lawyers. But meeting full on criteria for the disorder? That suggests that it's impairing your functioning. You don't see high-end lawyers with full on NPD and ASPD diso…

This 100%. That's how you get a false rape charge. There's a fine line between not giving a fuck and being a prick, and you crossed it at the worst time.

Lastly, expect a major spike in n-count during college because socially this is the one time in your life where it is acceptable to ho around. 20 years ago this was very true.

Gen Z's childhood was marked by the great recession, I think that had an impact on their perspective. Otherwise, i agree.

There are 3 major personality types: The leader, the follower and the rebel. Nah dude, this is some pop psychology bs, there are far more personality types than that. But it's a good starting point and there is some general truth to it. Tons of people won't fit cleanly into any of these categories.

This is very true. I used to be in law school, where the average age is mid to late 20's for starting. It was UNBELIEVABLE watching the change in some of these women from first year to third year. Part of it was the stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, etc., but compound that with the age factor, and it was so crazy to watch countless women decline from like an 8 to a 5-6. I guess it was just a large cohort of pre-wall women, that allowed me to witness the wall smashing more than normal. When I …

I'd get rid of all 4, not trying to be a dick. The first one you have a weird expression on your face and looks like you hired a photographer to do it. The other 3 you have the beta nice guy smile. Try doing a light smile/smirk.

For beards, get rid of it, they're for people with weak jaws, lumberjacks or paedophiles. I'm glad someone has said it here. This is understated. Lift for 4 years, and if your jaw line is still shit, grow a beard. That should be everyone's rule. If you have a natural good jaw line, you're making yourself look like shit with a beard.

It's so fucking true. I'm a lawyer, and I recall there being way more 9/10's in law school than the general population. Good looking women come from good genes. Good looking men tend to earn more, and good looking women marry men that earn a lot. Either way, when there's money in a family, there's often good looking children who become good looking adults, and many of which go on to success. "Industry" women for my purposes would be entirely short term only, and not worth any effort.

Divorces are initiated by women well over 90% of the time. it's not 2/3rds. I'm a lawyer in Canada (not in family, fuck that shit), and the stats are insane.

In the US, they don't specifically have affirmative action against white males, it's against the majority. So theoretically if the demographics hit a certain point, so would affirmative action laws. In Canada, where I live, we specifically have policies that apply to anyone non white or non male. It's unbelievable.
