Jesus..I just went through some of the same aspects, just swap the suicidal tendencies with low self worth and need for validation. 6-7 months..I was lovebombed hardcore, showered with sex all the time - just like you - any way I wanted it. This sounds accurate. I took myself off the market (LTRs at least) for around that much time to read about codependency, BPD, NPD etc. Recently gave another girl a shot. It's a pattern with women who have personality disorders. They are adept at figuring out exactly what you need, especially if you are a supergiver and overcommunicate early on during all the excitement. They know exactly who to take advantage of and how to mirror your needs back to you to make you believe it is the perfect relationship, before they rip it all away without warning, leaving you confused and scrambling to get back to that point. The only problem is it was never real.

She probably gave you the idea of a dream relationship with that initial mirroring and showering of affection, which has been hard to let go of. But as someone said, it's only the idea of her, which was probably never real from the start. Been there, and it sucks

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
