I'm still trying to build up the community to a point that it can run on its own. I will try to post regularly in the meantime. As an aside, it's been funny to see incredibly negative reactions to any mention of /r/seduction. Anyway, hope people here might find this valuable.

It's not my intention for it to turn into that. In fact, one of the reasons I created it was based on an acceptance that men have it much harder in the dating world (disclaimer: I don't necessarily think they have it harder in life). So really it is more about doing what you can to get the economics in your favor, if that makes sense. Being more attractive to women, sure, but not living your life to please them.

Good question, I hadn't thought too much about that. First off, I'm sure most people can identify things that if they did differently, would improve their lives (eating better, exercise, etc). In terms of personal characteristics, it seems pretty universal the confidence is important. Assertiveness? Probably. Sure, there are things that are open to debate, and I'm sure those discussions will be had. For instance, a lot of seddit believes in making a girl feel insecure about herself, but I don't …

There is a huge difference between men and women when it comes to self-improvement. Especially self-improvement when it comes to dating. I thought it was appropriate; it was not my intention to offend anyone.

I'm using a throwaway to build a community that I'd like to exist. Plus, I don't know, I guess I'm self-conscious about people who know me in real life.

I imagine everyone's different. In my experience every 2-3 days is about ideal. Do it too often and I become timid and lose confidence. Do it too infrequently and I start raging at little things, and in general become unpleasant to be around. I think the key is to hold off long enough to become aggressive/assertive, but not so long that you lose your wits and charm.

Some background info here. I will be trying to submit things regularly until the community has its own momentum. I think something like this could fill a valuable niche. It is meant to be something between /r/seduction and /r/selfimprovement. But I thought this subreddit would find it useful as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
